Guys, when umpteen people have downloaded an EA (190 I see here) and umpteen people are not complaining that it does not trade, and others are describing trades it takes even if those are not a total success, does it really not occur to you that there might be something wrong at your end?

And finally, given my huge respect for TIJ, does anybody here really think I would have ignored the EA I coded in direct response to his pm?

Doesn't seem to be a whole lot posting that it's working for them either. Maybe they're busy hauling their money to the bank. :lol:

Anyways, I'm trying it on two different platforms/crims. Can't seem to get it running. Must be operator error.

Listen pal, it may have escaped your notice but when I am coding entire damn things for free, I can get annoyed when people post stuff that my over-sensitive brain can respond to as being critical.

Now, I am not entirely sure which bit of this you will mis-understand, but I will try to keep it simple so it seep into your thick skull.

IT WORKS ON MY BLOODY DEMO ACCOUNT. IF IT DOESN'T WORK ON YOUR BLOODY ACCOUNT IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO THICK TO MAKE IT WORK.

Hi one & all

My BJSPB EA placed a 6 pair basket trade last evening (Wed) which was inadvertently placed on my live account. I had forgotten to switch off the EA switch in transferring from my demo account. Doh!!
The alert window came up and indicated trades being opened and closed but only on one of the pairs - the AUDUSD. 16 in total, and stopped when I closed the alert window. I don't know if closing the alert window is actually significant or just coincidence with something else occurring within the EA code, but interesting that it was only one pair. The other 5 - no problem, in fact I'm currently up 167 pips so I'm not complaining considering they mistakenly went on my live account. At the time I thought, Oh well, I'm here now - lets ride it out. Glad I did! :D

Graham,

do u mind sharing your settings? was it OOTB? cos for my bjs ea, on tuesday after i reloaded the ea, it took 3 trades, closed for 30pips profit, then on wednesday took another 3 trades n closed for 10pips loss. wondering where the problem lies. pretty much default settings.

Hi Steve

as I experience freeze reading indicator with BJSPB, I cut the loop in start() for debug purpose only and adapt snoozed() to run visual test.

First, I found an error with GlobalVariableSet which need Double parameter but JslCash was Integer.

Second, I wonder if this loop in start() with "static datetime OldM1BarTime" define thousand time is not the problem some of us encountered, depending on windows version, memory amount and so on.

So I modify code and add the last time read indicator in display module so I can trace it. As BJSPB is not a scalp EA, may be we can avoid this loop and let chart tick call Start(). Using a high frequency tick pair as EURUSD could do the job.

I have mark this code version with //PHIL before each modification, so you can retreive them.

For those who experience this freeze read indicator problem, you can run this test version and trace the last Time reas indicator just under the version Number.

what is your AUDCHF Daily Pivot ? mine is 0.9833 is in SELL mode for BJSPB EA !
