Hi guys, my first post and I want to address a short trade on USDJPY. I just placed a sell order below Daily Pivot, and as I understand all the requirements meet. This is as simple of a system is it can get, but there are some details to be watched and maybe fundamentals play a role once in a while too. Anyway, sell order below Daily Pivot and SL on touch of 60 MA. I will appreciate any comment regarding the trade. Thanks in advance to all and Bob in particular

I have to admit, I'm not sure of the exact entry rules but I have the TCO Trader EA running overnight & only 2 trades on - EURJPY + USDJPY sells.

Both were entered on the confirmed cross of the 4H Stochastic 75 line which coincidentally is very close to the Daily Pivot line for both.

See how they go today, good luck & many pips to all.

5. The USA is going to become the world's biggest energy producer, petro dollars will start coming back home after decades of going overseas. The right kind of tax on this surplus can be used to bring down the debt.

I wonder how much the US budget / economy will benefit from this. The oil $$ doesn't go to the US, it doesn't go to the US economy -- it goes to the multinationals who own the oil resources. And they hide (or shift overseas) as much of that income as they can, to avoid paying taxes on it. Some money will flow to royalties for some property owners, and the jobs and equipment purchases will help the economy, but how much will it really help the economy? I'll be astonished if we actually manage to start paying down the debt with it.

Especially since the Republicans are determined to eliminate all taxes on corporations anyway...

The oil and gas comes from inside the USA so they cant hide that. Just look at the oil producing nations and you can see the flow of cash into the countries. Now how it is dispersed to the general population of course you can argue about that. And yes you can also argue if they actually will pay down the debt but the money will be there. Like QE3 and buying all that mortgage paper every month. At some point they will sell it back out into the marketplace. Will they pay down the debt or use the money for more govt. programs? I understand some of that debate. To me the real question will be will we have the leadership to guide us through it all and straighten out the books. Whatever decisions we make will affect the world. Right now we are a very divided nation trying to go in two directions at one time and it aint working.

Yes that is a 10.6 trade and it should work under normal circumstances. The problem is there is a big elephant out there called a budget fight in Washington and what ever direction that goes will determine price direction. I dont know how it will end but I do know what ever direction it goes prices can jump in any direction at any time. If people around the world get nervous money can start moving very quickly in either direction and no set of indicators or price action will predict that. Just go ahead and trade and keep a tight lid on things. But yes that is a good trade scenario.

Strong Fundamentals top any indicators and we have one out there.

CAD, USD, NZD WEAKEST................ JPY EUR, CHF THE STRONGEST. Those are the best places to look for trend trades if we have any today.

thats trading... sometimes you win, sometimes you lose but you need to keep trying and dont give up. I'm still in the same trade, have my SL set at the last swing high. Maybe your SL was too close, depending on what your rules are.....
