Hi Guys

Must say I am vey happy with my 21 60 ma cross settings on the 5 and 15 minute timeframe...it is more like following intraday swings up and down and it can be quite profitable in the long run...what is more significant is that losers are closed out timeously with minimal losses.

However there is something I am striving towards and that is getting into medium term trades using fresh signals..

In my observations and following moving averages for many years now and thousands of hours of screen time, there are two moving averages that stand out for me on the 15 minute t/frame and that is the 120 and 240 Lwma set to open...this is where these crosses have always come to the forefront in medium term swings..now some may ask why not 21 and 60 on the hourly timeframe well the simple reason is that I want to reduce the lag effect of moving averages crossing over on the one hour t/frame hence a signal will only be generated at the close of the 1 hour candle...for this reason I like to go to the 15 minute t/frame/candle and simulate these crosses.

I have often said that the 60 /240 ma cross on the 15 min t/frame is good ...however the 120 and 240 cross is even better...now the magic of stochs, of course many dont believe in them...well I have seen this time and time again when the daily 533 stochs turn up from below 20 and you have a 120/240 Lwma set to open crossover 15 min t/frame you have a medium term buy swing reversal and vice versa for a sell...

So I will slowly move my tests towards this on Mad trader...and for anyone who likes to read my frequent maybe monotonous posts this might be a good way to go for you as a medium term swing trader..

Hi Is it correct for trading time setting from GMT+8 to GMT-7 GMT+8 = +02:00,-19:00 GMT-7 = +00:00,-04:00,+11:00,-23:59;

Today was very slow day and ended up -189.50. I keep making some small changes everyday when i see something that can improve EA result more. So will update you guys when i can see some consistent pips and share presets after that. I am setting Target for EA for myself now. 1) Try to minimise drawdown as much as i can and work on it.(My target max 3-5% DD) 2) Run at least for 2 months so i can come accross all human error that i had with one EA because of copy/paste presets. 3) Go live after 20% return for a month for two consecutive months as i am not in hurry. That's my PLAN for next few months. Please suggest if i am missing anything that help me doing bit better. Its always good read from you Leon I always test your idea so keep them coming whenever you can :hi: -AK
