Hi Tibochina. You paste the set file into your Empty4 presets file. close and open your Empty4. Load the ea onto your chart. Open the Tco expert. Click on the load tab and the setfile would be there.

Bob and others, sorry for writing in this topic but I hope to get a quick response.
Once - this might have happend when 10.2 was around somebody coded a dashboard showing pip distance to user defined pivots and S/R levels. Does anyone recall when i can find this thing?

Those correlating 10.x to another system merely on a few fleeting resemblance understand neither.

Certainly you are entitled to your opinion, but I am unsure of which other system you are referring to in that vague comment.

If it was indeed about the recent posts discussing using the TCO Trader EA, you may well be mistaken.

This EA has the ability to input the settings almost as NB describes them, so using the EA is not another system.

So perhaps it is your understanding that needs some updating if you intend to continue with sniping comments like that.

However, my opinion is 10.x is a rare bird, and conceptually a class by itself. Any mixing of 10.x with an EA, or any attempted adaptation of an EA to fit 10.x is likely to lead to unintended consequences.

Sure no problem, just like to point out that TCO EA is being used as a tool to assist with NB trading, in the very same way that the indicators are being used.

No one can sit in front of a computer 24/5 - I did say I run it on a demo, from there I can check the trades taken and evaluate whether or not to proceed with actual trade.

As far as consequences, in no way shape or form did anyone ever suggest that trading with an EA is not risky; nothing has changed there, ALL trading is RISKY, no doubt about that.

Any trading methodology would naturally mean different things to different people. The closer the various understandings are to the concepts, and belief system, of the author the more likely it is to be profitable.

Here is my understanding of 10.x.

The bedrock, the backbone, the essence of 10.x are the 240 and the 60 moving averages. Bob says 240 represents the monthly trend, and 60 the weekly. Perfectly sensible; we humans plan our activities on daily, weekly, monthly, yearly basis.

I think there is also another logic to the 240 and the 60 moving averages. Print 10, 15, or 20 charts of different trading instruments – forex and others -- daily time frame covering a period of one year. Lay them one above the other as a single column so that one may see all of them at the same time. Careful observation will show all the charts displaying 25 to 30 tradable turning points per year. These 25 to 30 morph into yearly 7 to 10 turning points of a higher degree.

I have not done this on a calculator, but mentally one can distinguish that on the basis of 4H time frame the 25 to 30 would translate into cycle length of about 60, and the 7 to 10 into cycle length of about 240.

So the 240 and the 60 moving averages are congruent not only with the cycles of human activity, but also with the rhythm of the markets.

If genius is the understanding of the vital points, then Bob has produced a work of genius.

Not really.... buy a new computer?

Here is mine for comparison, guess you did all usual thing like re-boot, start with only 1 program, then only 1 chart to try to isolate / locate problem?
