It has been very quite. Maybe everybody is on the EA thread. I had some success last night on 3 pairs but nothing to write home about.....art wrote:all very quite here, where's everyone?

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
Hey guys, so maybe in the interest of giving back some discussion to the thread I could post some recent losses, from today to be precise. I've placed some winning trades in the past, so here's some negative results. If we could discuss why would this trades fail we could about doing this in the future. Any comments from Bob or anyone else would be very helpful.

I am trading but nothing spectacular, up 6.5% for the month but also was gone for 5 days. So it has been steady taking wins and losses along the way. Just plugging along, singing a song.

Hi Bob, good to read that. I was wondering if you could mention which pairs have you traded this paste couple of days, so I can look at my graphs and see how you look at setups. That would help a lot. Thanks, and good to have you back.nanningbob wrote:I am trading but nothing spectacular, up 6.5% for the month but also was gone for 5 days. Hi Anthar, I'm going to try and help you out here based on the limit info you've provided.Anthar wrote:Hey guys, so maybe in the interest of giving back some discussion to the thread I could post some recent losses, from today to be precise. NZD/USD - I wouldnt have taken this trade. CSS (or my CSS) is showing that NZD is angling down. From what I can tell with your trade, you put in your buy stop and price headed down taking out your buy stop then headed down further towards your SL? I'm only assuming here based on the pic you provided. Did you wait for STO7 to go below 20 before putting in your pending orders?
EUR/JPY - Again, from what I can tell with your trade, you put in your buy stop and price headed down taking out your buy stop then headed down further towards your SL? I'm only assuming here based on the pic you provided. Did you wait for STO7 to go below 20 before putting in your pending orders?
Cheers

Re: 10.4 A Complete System
I have been trading the NZD and AUD pairs as they came back inside the 60MA in the Range area. I played they were reversing based on news that China economy was slowing down and that they were in their new range areas. I also rode them as they crossed the 240 line with the gbp/nzd and eur/nzd. I believe they now have set their new range area for a slower growing Chinese economy. In other words I was expecting them to reverse. China's economy was growing at a 8-10% and is now growing 5-7% This information would create a new trading range area that was lower than before. I believe that new area has not been established. Check your weekly charts and you can see this new range area.Anthar wrote:Hi Bob, good to read that. Re: 10.4 A Complete System
I appreciate your insights on my trades pg, I actually placed the pending orders so that PA would come back above / below daily pivot and activate them when resuming it original trend, so they couldn't be activated with a continuation of the retracement, but I understand the idea you got based on the pictures. What is true is that I didn't check the CSS, I thank you for that reminder and will implement that in my future trades.pg2205 wrote:Hi Anthar, I'm going to try and help you out here based on the limit info you've provided.Anthar wrote:Hey guys, so maybe in the interest of giving back some discussion to the thread I could post some recent losses, from today to be precise.
