Bob and Shelley Again

Hi all,
Compliments to Shelley for the strategy and SH and other contributors for the EA.
I set up a new demo yesterday running V2.m on both H4 and H1. Only one trade, USDJPY buy healthily green.
Trade management settings were BE at 30 with BEP of 3. Part close of 50%. JS at 40 pips. The lot size was 0.02.
The trade opened at 99.735. It is currently at 100.30. The BE duly set. The part close however did not execute.
I attach a sceenshot.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem of non-functioning part close function?

Hi, I see you use version 2m, latest one is 2n maybe give a try to the latest one

Hi, I see you use version 2m, latest one is 2n maybe give a try to the latest one

Thanks Nicastro...I haven't had any trouble with the part close function on any version I have used, but like Tommaso suggests try 2n and see if that resolves your problem.

The half-close does fail occasionally. I will glare at the code and see if I can force it into submission.

Another thingy to watch out for guys: occasionally a trade gets sent without a trade comment. This buggers up the half-close thingy.

Although I am ecstatic over your 20% increase, I HAVE to ask a question. I went 8 for 8 this week risking 0.5% per trade, stacked a few trades, and made 2.5% this week. Please share what you did that yielded 20%.

What is your R:R? If you had 1:1, with 8 winners risking 0.5%, you should have made 4% before any stacking.

fchaman, I'd ask the same of you. If you made 20% on similar trades, you may be risking too much...
