'tis indeed a thought and a worthy one. Without thinking too deeply about this, it looks on the face of it as though this would require some major rewriting of initially simple trade-sending code, so we will talk about this by pm.

I was already planning to make a new shell, more object oriented.
My goal for today, was to make a sketch, fro the concept...
Well, didn't get to it today..

Somewhere I have the code lying around for the Rollover protection.
Remember it was a selectebale input.. true/false..

Will look into the hidden pendings..
Was thinking in the form of this sollution...
Couple of mins before roll over,, Read all the open pendings.. Write info to an array.... Delete the pendings..
And later on.. read array, fire up open pendings again...

Or should we simply leave this to you? I am not a fan of beating my brain to a pulp when someone else is happy to come up with solutions? It depends what you want to do given that you have your own extended HGB project in mind. You have done a pretty fantastic job so far.

Hello
Here attached hardscreen copy concerning NZDUSD tickets the EA has tooken and not closed
I thought that the EA close the positions when an opposit signal appear, here I have 3 SELL positions on NZDUSD and whe have had 4 BUY signals since these position have been opened
Is it a bug in the EA or me who do not have understand ?

Your screen show NZDUSD, but your tradereport shows NZDJPY sell trades..... ?
I also see no open sell trades on de NZDUSD chart.

Steve, you're right as usual.
Started a new demo last weekend, had a few issues with MPTM-ATR, rapid opening and closing and such and said to myself f*** it, I'll be lazy and do as Steve says.

Was fast enough to download V2e with Steve's settings, and put it on OOTB.
Attached are the results, no manual interverence.
Take a GOOD look at the max. DD, at any moment it was -/- 115 pips. That's 1,15% with my lotsize. :shock:

I am lost for words.... :clap:

Here is my manual trading off the HGI signals so far this week - no range trades and pendings for everything else:

Good enough as it is, it could have been even better. I got stuck with a lot of losing trades from Tuesday onwards. The good ones kept on closing at their 30 pip tp but that did nothing for the DD. I concluded eventually that it was better to take a hit and move on than to sit not making any profits. The hit was 430 pips.

By comparison, here are my HGB results for the same period:

This includes the same manual intervention for the same reason, but here I was able to close at a hit of only 100 pips.

There are two reasons why HGB performed better than I did manually:
  • 1) It does not miss any trade opening signals.
    2) It does not miss any trade closure signals.
Early days, I know, but if HGB continues to perform this well then I know what the nature of my trading will be. I am seriously impressed by this robot.
