Hi George, Yes it will Buddy, If you have maddy highlighted it will open a trade if your conditions specified on mad trader is in the correct order with stack trades. I am still cautious of daily stack trades and the possible drawdown but nevertheless fresh signals are the source of my interests here with longer term trades. Thanks again George :hi: Tc |

Great writing Wavegarrick! I just wonder if having it all under the same roof also mean that you now have also 4H and 1D in your MADDY table and part of the signal? Or maybe we should have the possibility to choose Method of Calculation for each column? Then we can have MA Cross for D1 but MA Stack for H4, H1, M30, M15, M5 in MADDY. And then we can select the trigger we see suit best in MADTrader. Are these thoughts already overlooked and seemed irrelevant or do you have any such plans? I actually think of having multiple triggers in MADTrader, maybe it woiuld be best to have MACross for D1 21,60 as one condition in MADTrader together with eg Stoch etc. Maybe I am complicating things but bear with me, I also see that it is great potential in MADDY and MADTrader and that we may take it even more steps further...! I will digest what you have written and maybe adjust my tests based on your input. When you write it is sometimes difficult to be sure if you mean settings in MADDY or in MADTrader when it comes to MA Stack and MA Cross but I think I understand what you describe. This is FUN! Thanks for sharing your knowledge! BR Mathias |

Mathias I am using the 5 and 15 min Maddy dashboard on Pg 66. with a lookback of 240 minutes with the idea of getting fresh signals..using 1 hr, 4hr and daily in your dashboard and a lookback of 240 mins, you might wait till next year for a trade These are allready being tested since posted on Pg 66 and I have also been using the 1hr, 4hr and daily settings on madtrader v1.1.... 1 hr ma stacking with 21 and 60 Linear weighted a good option to use here as well as Ma crossover and Hgi. Stochs has also not been too bad..the reason why I did not post this then, is because I would horribly confuse some traders..I want to test it over a period and share the best test sets here. The other thing is you will have many trades open up with all these ea's running and this I am busy filtering out through a process of elimination the non performing currency pairs and sets. Yes you need to digest what I have written Tc |

I am currently running the 20/35 LWMA cross at 5M. Your 21/60 seems to be the better solution. My set MPTM is 20 pips jump and 10 BE. |

Hi I have some question, Do we need to open Market Watch panel?. Right now I close it to increase CPU and memory in my VPS. I try to read the manual. I copy some part below. "MADDY has been hard coded, to work with the 8 major currencies (AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, JPY, NZD, USD) During the initialisation phase, MADDY will iterate over all the currency pairs (and indeed symbols such as GOLD, DAX, OIL) your broker offers, and select all those pairs that have two of the 8 major currencies in their name. If any of these pairs were not enabled in the Market Watch panel, MADDY will silently do this for you, as she needs to have access to their historic and live price feeds." It's seem no need to open maddy will do this. Am I understand right? Thank you. |

My results from last week is not ready to be published but let me say that Wavegarricks settings is still best. Apart from that I am still adjusting too much to make a fair comparison. Need more time and pips before a more comprehensive report Br Mathias Edit: I unfortunately had a problem with APTM, maybe it was me not configuring it correctly But it is for sure interesting to explore this area |

Hi All! I am still collecting statistics of how to run this beast in the best way and I really encourage you who read this to do it as well! This is not as good as I hoped for, in fact I think it is way better!! It just takes some time to figure out what are the best settings for MADDY, best TP, SL etc and that you may not run it in sertain times. But in the long run this cannot be anything else than a winner! I have downloaded several settings from Wavegarrick and others to start with and you can do the same, but I also encourage you to explore more paths here as there are numerous ways to run this. Wavegarrick outlines some thoughts and there are more ways. For longterm trading, medium term trading, intraday trading and scalping. And all those strategies may need their specific settings and setup, both for MADDY, MADTrader and MPTM (or whatever you use). I had a another break in the internet connection from my test machine so my statistics are still not fully consistent, but working on it. I also post a script tool to be used for evaluation of trades and SL/TP levels in Excel if anyone is interested. It creates a CSV of the historical trades and also the peak and DD for the individual trade during its lifetime, and added to that also what extreme happened first, was it DD or Peak first It can be valuable when looking at setting eg TP to 30, 40, 50 or 60 pip and also what SL is good in order cut losses but also not to miss opportunities. It will be updated to select certain dates but currently handle all. Make sure that your history for each pair is updated, otherwise it may show errors. What it does is copying an array of rates in TF_M5 and looks for highest high and lowest low. This means that it is not exact values all the time but it gives a good hint of the pattern. CU later!
