Your welcome Phil. You'll notice that the pairs that shot past 10.3's level 3 yesterday did respect this indi's outer levels though. Some to the pip. The other thing I like about this indi is you can set the gmt offset for the daily open and pivot. Michael |

Yep, this one appears to be a successor to the attached indicator which uses the following formula: Code: Select all George |

I love the weekends for techno babble. Ok I really like Baluda's indicator. It is neat clean and runs smoothly. I have several questions and perhaps I should address them to him but: 1. What would it take to agree on a FIB formula? I always thought is was a simple High/Low of the previous day, week, month, year? and then a percentage from those two points. Pivots being the high/low/close divided by 3. Could that not be added to the existing indicator with a T/F statement for those who want to use them??? 2. Don rejected the simple pivot maker I posted earlier but it simply would post pivots based on the input you put into them. The two inputs being broker GMT time and your start time. All you had to know was what was your GMT time and your start candle time and it would adjust the pivot start to the time you wanted. Could that be added and then we would have a universal indicator that everyone could use. Some professional traders do readjust their pivots with every trading session. It just then would be teaching everyone what inputs the correct info based on their broker and the indi would make the adjustments. This would save a tremendous amount of computer Ram. Is that doable? What that does is give everyone, one main indicator to work from and ask questions from. I guess I should ask Baluda about this stuff but I need to give him the standards we should be using. |

This weeks result with the following settings in the Jump EA: Increment Pips: 8 Negative Increment:13 Positive Increment: 9 SL (in MPTM): 28 TP (in MPTM): 60 Trades: 60 Total Pips: 362 Average Win: 20,1 pips Average Loss: 12,3 Yesterday was a very bad day: It started very good but I failed to sell everything as I wanted to test the EA and see how it works and finally the day ended with -80 pips. Anyway good week. The 10.3 test works fine so far. Thx to you all! There is somebody who mentioned it already... The partial TP function in the Jump EA does not work . Anyone else experiences this problem ? Edit: Bob, " Some professional traders do readjust their pivots with every trading session. " I was just thinking about that yesterday, specially the big boys might play that game as they do not need to care about anyone and anything |

Since I am not a FIB guy I donot know what would be best. So I need to rely on you guys to decide what would be. |

Hello Dancingphil, on Page 54 i have posted my indicator "Daily range percent lines" this could help you to get what you want... It calculates the average daily percentual move of an currency pair! you can choose the number of day´s for calculate the average. The indicator now shows the range cutted in 25% steps and the fifth line is 125% of the normal move. You can easily change this to what ever you want... for example: this is the original... double today_R_125_perc = today_open + (ADR_pips*pnt * 1.25); double today_R_100_perc = today_open + (ADR_pips*pnt * 1.00); double today_R_75_perc = today_open + (ADR_pips*pnt * 0.75); double today_R_50_perc = today_open + (ADR_pips*pnt * 0.50); double today_R_25_perc = today_open + (ADR_pips*pnt * 0.25); ...this would show lines like your fib indicator: double today_R_75_perc = today_open + (ADR_pips*pnt * 0.82); double today_R_50_perc = today_open + (ADR_pips*pnt * 0.618); double today_R_25_perc = today_open + (ADR_pips*pnt * 0.382); the indi is quite simple because i am NOT a great programmer and you can play around with and extend the lines to whatever you want! i hope i could give something back and help you a little bit... greetings |

Bob, I have come across an indicator which might be worth to look at it . The link is http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=189541 This one autocalculates the time zone and calculate the pivots according to the New York Close . The pic attached are from different brokers with different GMT shifts yet the indicator auto calculated the pivots. This one is having lot of functions and you can plot fibos also. With regards, Arun |

Oh sorry for the duplicate post of the indicator. But still i modified a little bit only on the cosmetic side to have a feel of 10.3 system showing weekly and monthly pivots . With regards, Arun |
