Using Version 2g . Noticed a small glitch .

When I set max trades to say 3 for TREND I see it opens 3 x trades on a TREND Arrow . My understanding is that it should open 3 TREND trades in total on 3 different TREND arrows .

The max trades thingy predated multi-level trading, and is pretty much irrelevant now.

Yes. The others are happy to use a version that still had bugs in it. And then wonder why they have problems caused by the bugs that 2h fixed.

Some people have trouble that the ea is sometime firing trades at the same level.
Happens with the single and multientries..

Did a quicklookup in the code, couldnt find it..yet.

And almost a whole day further..have been busy with charity work and other stuff.
And come to realize that I did'nt do what I wanted to do yesterday..
Wokring on the holy grail ea..

well, I dud quickly put this together...

I see multiple versions of trademanagers..
Which one is the best??

Is anybody using the hgb basket manager? I tried to follow boldtraders advise to bank the pips in litlle steps (1%). But haven´t been so successfull so far, with my / Steves HGB settings. I had one global closure today, but floating DD at the moment about -300 pips and netted also -300 pips :o
Still in profit for the week though. :clap:

Not too shabby, V2g, I know its naughty not too have updated to v2h but its performing so damned well. 85% in three days ($1000 grown to $1846), I didnt start trading until about 9pm Monday and Steve and others reported making about a 1000 pips that day, that means 100% in a week is comfortably possible. Reasonably aggressive settings but not stupidly so. DD ranges between plenty of draw up to about 15% Drawdown. BUT - larger lotsizes means larger risk and the possibility of losing much bigger than conservative settings.
Absolutely flaberghasted at the performance. I have another Demo thats made 4000 pips, again starting about 9 pm Monday.

Thanks for your hard work on this guys, amazing! Settings are as Steves OOTB just tweaked lot sizes and RAD multi trades TP set to 25 pips, but 30 pip TP seems fine on my other demos.

Awesome!


Oh and I've deleted a few pairs listed below, including NZDUSD, GBPCHF, cheers

Impressive.

I see lotsizes ranging from 0.02 to 0.07
How did you determine these?

A bit of trial and error, tweaking to $ gains I wanted to see per trade, flying by the seat of my pants. I was initially thinking trend trades were the best and most profitable/highest success rate. But with testing the RAD trades are flying high, especially the multis. I have four GP demos slightly different settings but all similar performance. Amazing. The fixes carried out prior to release of V2g in conjunction with Steves awesome original coding and the strategy/indicator mix is just amazing.

I realise your the settings meister Gertje, mine are just slight tweaks to the OOTB settings Steve posted in V2g and pairing back pairs that havent performed.

Actually far from it. I just try a lot of different things and stick to what works.
Also my brain is technically wired, so I "see" things different sometimes.
Sometimes a treat, sometimes a pest. :smile:
