Strange indeed. Actually I should have known it was something like that -- when you start accessing outside the legal boundaries of an array, bizarre things can happen.

(Biting my tongue, not saying anything about braindead languages that don't check array indices to make sure you're accessing memory legally...)

You've obviously watched this set up more than I have, so let me ask: do you think this should run as a basket, the way Shelley does, or should this be a pair-by-pair setup? In other words, do you think the basket is good because the 5.1-pullback pairs lead the way and everything in the basket ends up going green, or do you think it would work better to enter each pair individually when it hits its 5.1 pullback?

To test Jemook's entry process I've modified the NB10.2 templates to have an easier look on 1h timeframe, you can find it in the attachments. I use the red background for the charts Shelley going to short, and the blue one for the long ones. Here's my current screen setup:

When I win 3 baskets in a row I will record a video of me dancing and post it. Now I have a reason to try and lose on purpose! So to answer your Q, here is what I think and I will use my two demo accounts (see my sig) to illustrate.

METHOD A / ON MY NB10.2 June 2012 DEMO: I trade the same pairs that Shelley is indicating in the basket. However, I am trading each pair individually once price crosses the H4 5.1 MA my and targeting the next support/resistance with a stop above the previous support/resistance.

METHOD B / ON MY NB 10.2 x SHELLEY DEMO: I am trading the Shelley pairs as a basket as I have explained earlier and targeting a combined total of +/- 400 pips.

Tonight in 1 hour of trading I closed 400 pips using method B, nice and easy. However the trades I took on Method A are in DD atm however I don't mind as I am holding them for either a stopout or a TP at the next support/resistance.

So it really depends on how you want to trade. Personally I am demo'ing these two methods and will use one or the other when I go live depending on which is more profitable, consistent and has the least DD.

I believe that when the market rejoins the trend there's an initial move from when the H4 5.1 MA where Shelley can capture pips. But if it moves to the next support/resistance is another story! It really depends on how you want to trade.

Either way I will keep you posted on the findings and my dance moves. :oops:

Just quickly - after todays initial move where we captured pips the bastards all moved back to the opposite H1 TMA band. Which means there could be another trade on your hands if your ballsy ;) I'm going to sit this one out!

Jemook, are you looking at H1 chart for 5.1 MAs? Did you use Shelley EA or you manually trigger the trades?

I haven't triggered Shelley yet as none of the basket pairs have touched the H4 5.1 MA.

Thanks. Your EA triggered 8 trades last night at 6:37, but my Shelley V1k didn't catch those signals. I wonder what version is your classic shelley EA? I like how your strategy :)

Go back a couple of pages and read up on how I use Shelley.

I just entered a basket now as the 5.1 MA's start getting hit on the H1. I'm attempting to get in a bit sooner than the H4 5.1 MA Touch. I'm using smaller lot size as this is more risky than waiting for the H4 5.1 MA's, let's see how it goes.
