Maybe not needed, but, nevertheless, attached one more version with some extensions/changes (loop through the code and look for "mod." or "added", then you should find them all :

e.g.:
Some things modified/added, e.g. UTC stuff (stop trading xyz hours before market closes), ismarketclosed stuff (modified, original by snailbeard), mod. slippage stuff,
load the default schemes, limit open positions (not testet yet),
ability to deactivate RSI2 (which can read current trading-TF now), re-activating of the tradingtimeframe-setting, NormalizeLots, bool2text, ModStoch (return if stochval now is lower than previous stochval for BUY e.g.), playsound on ordersend/sendalertnotrade, etc.

But I am not 100% sure if the UTC-autorecognition of next marketclosetime works "bloopfree". All the other stuff should work fine. However - the practice will show it. :mrgreen:

V 1e is in post 1. fxdaytrader has helped me with some code tightening. Thanks very much fxdaytrader.

Monumentally, Paul has added his Lib.CSS code and shown me how to call the routines. This means that all the indicator code is encapsulated within the EA which means:
  • no cpu-consuming calls to custom indicators - so everything is faster.
  • for those of you who enjoy this aberrant behaviour, BASA will backtest in CrapTester. Just don't post your backtest results here - I do not care what they are.

Thanks for the update..

Is the info from Paul available anywhere on the forum, as I'm in the process of learning to code with the help of Jimdandys videos and I've been struggling with getting my head around CSS amongst a long list of things..

Good for you for doing so.

I am not sure what you mean by your question, but the indi's are available at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=45&t=629, along with brief descriptions of what they do. Paul's LibCSS code you can find within BASA, and I am adding it to my shell code; this will be available later.

I will have a look at the BASA code...

Do you know if Paul has done the same for Global Market Trend indicator? I know he's quite busy, so maybe if you're speaking with him via PM you could ask, as i'm using this in my live trading and its helping keep me out of the market when its going sideways / retracing.

Sorry I've been MIA for a few days...I've not been well and not been up to watching charts.

I did take a look this morning to see how BASA is going and noticed the following EURJPY re-entry BUY trade taken.
Steve, can you please take a look at this screenshot (not sure if you have this trade as well), but there was no close above the 60 LWMA?
