The purpose: Get a distinct TP for one week, 3 ... 5 % or so and dont risk loosers destroying the gains made.

Hi AGT,

I will add this functionality with the next update as an optional, simil like I added in 3 little pigs, but with deleting the pendingorders, after the basket close.

Update march 31,2015
AGT had the idea that function that lets the EA close all open positions if a certain profit reached maybe could give better results. As I liked the idea I embedded this function in the EA and did some cosmetic updates to my latest EA look..
this are the new inputs

extern string   CloseAllProfitSet2="---if Profit reaches CloseAllOfPairInProfit----";
extern bool   UseCloseAllOfPairInProfit=true;
extern string   CloseAllProfitSet3="---enter here the amount in account Currency----";
extern double CloseAllOfPairInProfit=100;
After a PairBasketClosure the EA will delete the eventual resting pending order(s) and restart next week with trading.
Note the EA counts only its own trades on the specific pair.

The update is as usual attached to the first post!

Ahm - to make it clear for me: the bot wont trade anymore during the whole rest of the week after closing at the defined TP AND will automatically restart trading starting the new trading week ... right ? ;)

The BasketClose is only supposed if the pair basket reaches 30 USD, I suppose now, you intended it as a basket-close for all open positions with the FirstStrike magic number, this I had not added as the EA is single Pair EA.. you could use it together with the http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =21&t=4081 and select that the EA deactivates trading after the basketclose and reactivates after selected time again autotrading. As I in the moment have no intention to change the FirstStrike EA to a Multipair EA, I would do so if your test are showing a succes with the strategy..

Yes, Tommaso you are right concerning my thought: Indeed I intended it as a basket-close for all open positions with the FirstStrike magic number .....

Ok, I got it ! So I'll use the simpleAPBM to perform the described approach .... :smile:

I dont gave up this bot. Tweaking it further. Perhaps I'm moving ahead on the right way. The actual approach is: allow the EA open/close only one basket a week. I tried once only two baskets - and that worked. So could you perhaps add one parameter fixing the number of baskets bevor switching off the hole bot ? I could set up further tests to see how the EA would work allowing more then one basket a week.
