If you're getting Error 130, it's most likely caused by your br0ker's StopLevel... From the looks of it, Steve's br0ker has a StopLevel of 0, and so he doesn't get bombarded with the error message.

To fix it, go to line 3369, and change it from this...

if (Bid >= sl + (TrailingStopPips / factor) )//George
...to this...

Code: Select all

if ((Bid - MarketInfo(OrderSymbol(), MODE_STOPLEVEL)) >= sl + (TrailingStopPips / factor) )//George
Then go to line 3385, and change this...

if (Bid <= sl  - (TrailingStopPips / factor))//George
...to this...

Code: Select all

if ((Bid + MarketInfo(OrderSymbol(), MODE_STOPLEVEL)) <= sl  - (TrailingStopPips / factor))//George

I would suggest change broker, 20 pips stoplevel is ridiculous.
It's a 20 pip trail.....NOT 20 point! That would be ridiculous!

If the 20 pips trail gives you the warnings, it's a +20 pips stoplevel, otherwise the stop would have been adjusted.

The code change from Radar seems to have fixed the problem.

You might want to have a look at the TrailingStop function, where it calculates the new SL, and have a look at what it's actually doing...

Original code (for Buys)...

With your TrailingStop of 20 pips, what this code is saying is, "When Bid is 20 (or more) Pips above the current SL, move the SL up by 20 Pips." With a StopLevel of 2 Pips, you're gonna get "BINGBINGBINGBING!" until Bid is 22Pips or more above your current SL. I reckon you can work it out for Sells ;)

Since, rad-signals are basically trend-continuations, would it make sence to have the possibility to close these on a opposite trend-signal?

Ok guys, whilst I have been swanning around the UK countryside meeting The Bobster and his wonderful Patti, Denis and Tomasso have been beavering away on our behalves.

Just so you know where you are right now, it is 10.38 London time.

Denis has dealt with my misunderstanding of the wavy lines in HGB.

Tommaso has spent the day dealing with some esoteric HGI stuff. I tell you guys, these indi people speak strange tongues. :lol: I never understand a word they are speaking.

I am too tired to make any sense right now (ignores cries of, "What do you mean, 'right now'")

I shall leave Bob, Tommaso and Denis to decide which indi version to update in Bob's thread. I will update this thread in the morning with Denis' HGB and the resulting need to update the user guide. Live with what we have for now folks, and await updates tomorrow.

Tommaso and Denis, I cannot thank you enough for what you have done today whilst I was enjoying the company of one of the best human beings on this planet. Thanks guys.
