Hi,

this is my first post here in this forum and I am happy to be on board.

After installing the EA on the Empty4 build 765 I had problems to start it, I always got the error "Array out of Range"

After some research in the old thread i found the solution in KapguHaJI's Post:

It sometimes caused 'Array out of range' errors. I don't know why, but Empty4 doesn't mind them very much, so you don't usually stumble upon them.
In this case it is located in line 4156.

Hi anybody have this issue? I rec'd this error (not warning) on Expert tab. Anyone hv any idea where I hv crap up?

That is risk based lot sizing, a function we broke when trying to apply it to multi-trades. I cannot fix it because I do not understand it. Turn it off for them.

Negative week for PPoS.
This week was the 4th of March and the Pipmaster strategy used the previous week's bar and the last month bar - February. So this week the strategy did not use data from the first and second week of March :!: . Because of this, I am putting the hypothesis that this strategy is less profitable in the second half of the month, compared to the 1st half and the PPOs EA amplifies this tendency compared to Pipcruiser's Pipmasher original strategy .
It was really good that we can verify this hypothesis.

Try disabling the EA if price is trading below last month's low for longs and vice versa for shorts. Simple price action and it kept me out of the losing trades this week, e.g. EURJPY, so I still turned a profit. :good:

EDIT: Just re-read this and it's not clear - what I meant to say was, if the EA is indicating an uptrend but price has made new lows (below last month's low), then disable it. The logic being that if there is truly an uptrend then we would expect the previous low to hold.

Quite. HGB and PPoS are the same in that success using them depends on lots of tiny lot size trades. The 2% risk per trade guys will be blown out of the water sooner or later - and probably sooner.
