If you set up Empty4 to send emails, the EA will automatically send an email when the robot is suspended, and you can investigate. If you remove the EA and then reattach it, it will start trading again.
Thanks for the feed back Maxx. When I tried on demo I had no problem, now I don't know what to do. :?

Post subject:  PipHunter plus everything else
Setup a few demos for this week but having problems with the grid setup. Is anyone else using this successfully without using ATR for the grid size?

When I have useATR off whatever value I put for distancebetweentrades I just get all the trades placed at the same price and chart feedback says distance between trades 0 when it is not.

I have tried recompiling the EA but same result.

Any ideas?

Are you posting in the right thread? This is the first time I've seen any mention of a Grid for this system.

Ah gotcha. Unfortunately I think you're on your own as no one else is using the grid functionality.

The grid code comes from Steve's Standard Shell Code - so if you're experiencing problems it's likely that the same problems are being replicated across other grid robots that use the shell code.

So if I were you I'd search other grid robot threads as they are more likely to be using the grid code and therefore running into the same problem as you.

No problems on any other grid robots using the shell code.. I am using them all! Anyway no worries it works fine with ATR based grid.

If I wanted to add a filter to this EA so that it only entered a pending long if the previous candle was bullish (open<close), and only entered a pending short if the previous candle was bearish (open>close), how would I do this? I've had a look at the code and can't see immediately how to do this.
