My good fortune continues with this Ea. Set the Ea off 2 hours ago which is before London open  I am using the settings as below on my daily set file. Same settings on my weekly and monthly set.I like the fact that losers are closed out quickly. 24 pips closed with added protection of my 50 pip s/loss per trade. Have a good day Cheers Leon |

Hi A quick summary of what I have observed over a couple of hours this morning: - the time when you come out of hibernation is critical, since, you can enter the market on the back of valid signals that are in fact weakening. - The CSS diff appears to be a means to filter this, in that it may not be sensible to open a buy when diff is -ve nor sell when diff is +ve, on the short term TF at least.. I'll keep watching but this may be another use for disabling certain pairs or perhaps adding a general rule or option in the setup that precludes opening a trade in these circumstances. I'm new to basket trading so I acknowledge that I may not be in tune with this methodology, where my bias is towards focusing on indivdual trades. That said, my basket is currently in profit!  |

Hi Guys From a Pm received and some valid questions and answers I gave. I thought it would be appropriate to post it here and hopefully invoke some discussion: Some questions: Currently I do have a management Ea running, set at 50 pips per trade but as you can imagine eg. 8 trades at 50 pips = 400 pips. A bit scary, so it would make sense to have % basket loss closure on and set between 1 and 2% as an added protection. Must say however that I can only recall 6 trades or so hitting 50 pips in my test sets last week and that was with basket closure set at 2 %. My weekly set had trades open during the Gbp flash crash and only 2 trades hit 50 pips s/loss with the rest of my trades taken, hitting 5% profit during the flash crash event. Probably pure luck but it worked. My daily sets were closed during this event. I am hoping with the new option with closing trades on opposite css crosses will eliminate any such black swan events. I would suggest 1 cents for every 300 to 500 dollars in you trading account which is in the lot size calculation of the Ea. We are working with baskets here so in essence you could have 28 trades open for all the normal currency pairs available in a set so it would be advisable to cull the pairs traded to fit your amount invested. For this I am going to have to suggest testing the Ea with the amount you plan on investing first of all to see if this Ea will be viable for you or not. Importantly in your test you will have to look at disaibling pairs to suit your pocket. Cheers Leon |

@Boulder Yes I got the same error message this morning trying to set up a demo platform, I also noticed that the EA was displaying some weird big numbers for some pairs while data for the others was correct. I opened a chart with these pairs, I scrolled through the time frames to gather history, reloaded the EA and that did the trick. |

Hey mate, thanks for helping out! Tried everything you suggested but still can't seem to get it to work.. Both the indicator and the EA return the same error message in the experts-tab. |
