They are all timeframe-independent now. Change the timeframes of your trading charts to your hearts content, mix them all as mad - the signals will stay the same. The trick is to calculate the indi on the signal timeframe and then to translate it into graphics on the actual timeframe chart. I learned a lot coding that.

I try to point out something that may be hidden from your view by chance but if you think it is a minor issue I will live with it.
Anyway, check it and see what I mean.
At first screenshot you see 3 signals, not overall signals, that were changed when I switched XAUUSD chart (TDesk matrix chart) from 15m to 30m.
The difference between both SS taken is 38 seconds, as you can see in the market watch.
As long as I don't switch TF for TDesk chart it can stay for a long time with the non-updated signals.
As a result, the overall signal may delay as well.

Hi @all.

I got some PMs stating that the Stoch indicator would show false values. This observation is wrong. Let me show you the situation:

First, here is a D1 chart of AUDCAD with the following indicators (identical settings, all D1) from top to bottom:
- Stoch7 TD V2
- Original Stoch7
- Stoch7 TD V1

We can see they all agree. So far, so good. Now we note the time of the last two signal changes.
- From green to red on 18-09-13 00:00
- From red to green on 18-09-19 00:00

Now we switch the chart to the H1 timeframe. What would we expect? Right, the signal changes and especially the signal of the last candle to stay the same in absolute terms. Now have a look what happens:

You see that both TD versions do exactly what we expected. The signal changes on the same exact date and the last candle signal stays green. The bars are just stretched. The original version (in the middle) shows something totally different, especially the last bar has changed color.

You can try the above in your terminals, you will see the same.

Greetings everyone

Thomas two words wow and fantastic. You are changing the game here............
I am busy testing set-ups but like most people my other work has me distracted when TD has triggered, nonetheless TD is going to give us the ability to combine functionality like never before. This calls for a different way of thinking. Here is how I am approaching it.

I am trying to re-focus what I am trying to do in my trading. Ultimately I want an EA that will cream it when a pair is truly moving.
And
I want to get the hell out of trades when consolidation or reversals occur, i.e. be taking the money off the table.
I want to be out of the market when it goes flat

What we can now really focus on is nailing these three tasks and we can look at them separately in terms of what indicator signal at what time frame. So the questions are:

1) How can I get my entries timed right and razor sharp and high probability
2) How can I be out of the market at all the right times
3) How can I put together the best exit strategy to match the chosen money management strategy. This is a big one.

What I immediately spotted with TD is the overall signal % based function. That is a great idea and I am now trying some combinations, but there is one more step that might be possible in the future. Maybe TD could choose to go to a specific indicator signal and TF for exits (maybe entries as well) for some strategies. To an extent, the % based signal can achieve this but it isn't quite the same thing - something to consider. I am a big believer that exits are a completely different challenge than entries, so functionality that allows this to be tested is like gold to me.

So I hope to share some set-ups in near future and I am sure there will be some amazing ones coming forward. Already All averages/Stoch/SS/HGI offers a massive array of possibilities. I am especially excited about exploring further HGI combos as we all know there is so much cleverness already there in HGI.

Thomas I have been running with three different set-ups on 17 pairs this week and so far I have not picked up any functionality that isn't working. This in itself is a massive credit to you as TD is no simple beast. I have been doing some M5-M15-H1 scalping w/ SCB ea and TD has handled this no problem. All is smooth and CPU usage is well under control. Your programming is so impressive. Thanks Thomas for what is already an inspired tool for trading.

TDesk overall signal for EURJPY has changed from FLAT to Long. Ask price was 131.600
or
