Hello,
I got asked what the hell I'm currently doing.
At this time I'm studying the ranging market. Why and where, and how can I benefit from it. For this I've watched the higher TFs means w1,d1 and h4. What does this mean exactly?
I'm looking for interesting patterns looking where do they repeat and watch out for a setup which looks smiliar.
One example:
Looks like kindergarten. It actually is a bit, but rocket sciene expert advisors aren't better and doesn't have facial recognition at this time. At least I'm telling you not that I know how the market works and seeling you bs.
Have a nice christmastime,
Nick :hi:
PS. EURJPY was W1 too, sorry for that

Hello,
I want to share a good negative trade I've made today in USDJPY.
Still on track, and still much to learn. But I'm getting better every day I think.
Maybe I did everything right. Maybe I should enter after a little stop hunt, but I don't have the whole day time to monitor the charts. Could be a good idea, to trade those m15 timeframe more safely, cause of the problem with time.
Updates will come!
Cheers :hi:

Hey Nick,
Any thoughts on where EURNZD may be headed? Since late October, it has been heading south, and any attempts at an meaningful reversal have failed. I appreciate that COVID news has dominated sentiment of late.
Cheers,
YCC

Hello,
EURNZD and me aren't friends since January.
It's a pair I don't feel comfortable with like it looks, and would trade a different pair, until something changes.
My entries are circled. It's a bit sad.
Sorry can't do anything for you
Cheers!

counting 3 levels is actually counting the impulsive 5 wave (2, 4 and 5). W or M are mostly the corrective ABC wave (a large part of it is not the real reversal point, rather it is just a bit rebound).jasonckb » Fri Nov 13, 2020 11:26 pm wrote:What I read from the AN chart in EW form.waza » Fri Nov 13, 2020 10:46 pm wrote:it's not ego it's now knowing how the market works. here's my trades and i've made up my losses of those other trades as well.

Hello,
I want to tell you the end of the of MY journey.
Problem is that in most threads, there is no real ending, cause everyone leave the forum, or they guys are to lazy.
If someone is there, followed my postings and making his own mind, I want to give you some tips. In the following I will sum up some topics and show you my understanding which I've developed over months.
BARF:
The principal of BARF is solid. It's possible to enter in real good positions with a good R:R. But keep in mind that you must not use the stop orders as CJ did. They impact your R:R in a bad way, and if goes the wrong way you're in a real bad position. Use limit orders at the top if price comes back to improve your R:R, but keep your % balance in mind.
Level-trading:
Everyone talks about it, but I've seen nobody actually using it in a profitable way. Why? Cause you will loose your mind. If someone uses it, there will be additional rules of entry which leads to a good R:R position. But there are much easier ways to enter a good R:R trade, without cracking your head.
My advice of trading, if you are not able to trade CJs way (if there is even "the way"):
Don't break your head. Keep it simple. Search for the little pieces CJ has given us, especially in the BARF-thread, which is mostly forgotten but gold. Create your own system and don't focus on past trades sympathy or others has done. That's there way of trading not yours. You have your own way of seeing things as they do.
Look for a way to enter in good R:R trades and don't look for perfect trades. It must not be perfect. It should be solid and easy to execute. You need all your discipline to keep the good money management in place. That should be the focus.
How do I trade at this time:
I'm looking for fast movements and than for ranging. Enter at the M/W in the second leg, SL is the first leg. My enter is at the end of asia, and I trade the fast movement back. That's all. Good R:R, you head doesn't crack and it fits in my life.
