Thanks Bob and Shelley very much for sharing this work! I am testing myself on demo and will share any results of testing/live use i find if i think they will help!

@RxCape, i have the same trade, and i now worry i set i up wrong...

The install instructions for H1 settings say "Setup BASA on H4 as normal & Change all charts to H1. That's all you need to do.". But a little bit before that it says "Stochastic and RSI-TMA Slope become H1 values", so I do need to change the values of the RSI-TMA indicator? As my RSI-TMA looks very different to yours.

heath: change the properties of the tma to display the h1 plot. in the standard template the tma is set to display the h4 plot.

does this affect trades or just the display only?

That is my question i guess really. I've only had it running a few days and it has made trades. But they don't seem to be following the strategy when i look at the 4 hour chart with template added in a different window, which made me think i had to change the settings. I will continue to test and see if the trades are matching roughly what they should be doing (I have used the Nanningbob system so i think/hope I know what i'm doing).

Hi,

as all the indi code is encapsulated within BASA, so it does not affect the trades how you set the TMA in your template....

Thanks, i think that's what i was not understanding. I didn't realize the bot ignores the chart i'm looking at and grabs the right data in the background. Very smart. Thanks to all for your help!

Hi Guys...thanks to everyone for chipping in and taking a look at some ways we can filter out the bad trades, but can I please just ask you to remember that BASA is first and foremost designed as a 4H strategy.

I know a few of you have started trading it on 1H with some success, but want you to keep in mind that if any changes are made that they aren't detrimental to the 4H strategy (which is what I trade successfully).
