(Put it in your "scripts" directory, and drag the script onto an open window. It will create a series of windows and flash and blink for a while. When it's done you should have a pretty good history.)

I thought it might be worth pointing out that this approach has a very long and respected pedigree. Robert Miner advocates a "dual timeframe momentum filter" as the key element of any trading setup. In a nutshell a dual timeframe momentum filter is trading in the direction of the higher timeframe momentum indicator (i.e. D1 TMA slope) but waiting until the lower timeframe momentum indicator has moved in the opposite direction, before entering when it re-aligns with the higher timeframe direction (i.e. H4 or H1 TMA slope). In effect this is same as entering in the direction of the trend, after a retrace against the trend has ended.
