that is amazing results, mine just have few pairs traded, started from monday, when did you start your HGB, do you mind sharing your settings, and what indicator you used to show the trades status on screenshot, thanks and many many pips to you!

I've been running the this demo account on HGB for a few weeks. My settings are pretty much OOTB generic on all 28 pairs. Range trades disabled. No S/L. The screenshot is by Tradereport as discussed at length here.

For those still not reading everything that is posted here and other threads, in particular "FIND YOUR OWN OOTB SETTINGS" and the pitfalls of not doing so, here is an example:

I went through each and every input setting on Sunday, basically because there are so many, with each having the potential to effect others and a need to understand what each does. After I finished, I felt quite confident that I had achieved what I set out to do. I sat back, patted myself on the head and waited patiently for Monday to arrive.

Like clockwork, Monday arrived and away HGB went, trading like a banshee, opening new pendings, pocketing some profit and floating more profit. 27 pairs + Gold, 0.02 lot sizes for all and my own conservative TP's. I was pleased with the result and had a great Monday. Come Tuesday morning, I wake up bleary-eyed to find that >50% of the pairs are not trading, no pendings in the trade window.

Off to investigate... by missing one simple input within the EA, I had successfully limited my profit potential. OOTB setting for "Daily Profit Target" is set to 30 and >50% of the pairs had reached it and shut the EA down. :arrrg:

So, the moral of the story is that even the best laid plans can go astray and that fault finding should be an inward look, not an outward one. Sure there are still a few blips to be sorted out, but you should know the EA that is trading your money, know it intimately because most problems are caused by what the IT industry call PBKAC..."Problem Between Keyboard And Chair.

G'day pquin, how are you?

Since starting yesterday, I have been going for about 26 hours and I am up +492 with OOTB settings, with the exception of no Range...

I have had to get my wife to shovel my lower jaw off the floor... :shock:

Am I dreaming? I have never made this many pips in such a short amount of time, EVER!!!
I have been trading manually for about 4 years, and 3 of those I was a part of the 95%ers....
But I am determined to succeed, and be a part of the 5%ers of profiable traders!
HGB is a whole new dimension for me, and I am so grateful to all involved in creating this masterpiece.

I am running 3 demo accounts all with $1000 deposit, on 3 separate accounts, with 3 separate brokers (Global Prime included) and all 3 are in profit.

I want to see how HGB handles FOMC and NFP before going live!
But is is only early days, and things are looking really good... :D

The retrace after early gains has hit pretty hard. I'm now down about 40% from the high of a few hours ago.

Hi, I'm a long time lurker, so first up thanks to everyone for making such approachable, useful community, especially Steve, Bob, Paul, and all the other regular contributors.

I've setup HGB and the HGB Basket Manager on a demo account, but I found that when I went to changed the settings on the basket manager it would crash my terminal. Also, removing the basket EA would timeout and the EA would get killed. Poking around it seemed that this was because the OnTick function never returns, which is I guess is correct when the EA is running, but doesn't allow the EA to be stopped gracefully. Replacing this with !IsStopped() seems to fix my issue, and the EA continues to operate as expected. See below:

Also, I think it would be useful to add a StopTrading flag to the basket manager which sets the global variable, which would mean you could pause all HGB instances from adding new trades, but would allow it to manage the existing ones. I've attached my modified copy of the basket manager, for clarity of what I mean.

It's very interesting to see how a different starting time effects the results of HGB.
Made more than 1800 Pips last week, didn't close the trade at the end of the week and gave approx. 70% of the profit back yesterday. Decided to open a new demo with HGI v.15.06 (because of the problems posted a few posts back) at 5p.m GMT and I'm again hitting a big DD (-500 pips and -700 floating pips).

Hi boinvest. Can you please add a file version to the name of HGB so that we can easily distinguish the different versions. I notice this is different to the 2h posted on the 1st page, the only way i could check was comparing in notepad ++.

I will try to test this version
