Among indicators in which I am not a big fan of... I think the best indicators I have seen so far are...

3 Level ZZ Semafor
Doda Bands
TDI
Velocity Waves

On an opposite note, I would like to share that I think the quest for the holy grail EA lies in a place where a perfect losing system can be reversed into a winning system. I have been experimenting with building EAs out of strategies in which the results are a consistent loss. As the strategy logically makes sense, it does not trade but has a nice consistent down curve. Reverse the entry and exit conditions and Voila!

While testing this approach, so long as the strategy consistently looses, you can do this.

In my mind, this makes sense as if 95% of forex traders are losing traders, why not just do the opposite of what seems logical?

I find what works best for me is hidden divergence into double divergence followed by a breakout of a 123

Use a 5 min chart looking for the divergences on a STO set at 5 and a MACD
If it doesn`t work you bail at the previous pivot which gives you a short stop,indicates trend change very well
You can keep an eye on the longer timeframes to guide you for exits

For me SMA 50, 100 and 200. I don't take trades off of them, but use to gauge the market.
Price behavior n relation to these tells a big story.

In my opinion, all economic, fundamental and technical factors are sum up in these.
