Hi Charles ! :hi: So as I understand it now - its better to switch to the last "v1.5a" OOTB you posted above ? I ask bcz I'm using further so far the first "v 1.5a" you posted in the begin of this thread ...   Btw this "v 1.5B" thingy ricky posted is doing the job pretty good so far ... starting that bot I didn't expect that really ...  |

Hi AGT, From my thinking, either Ricky's Sebgrid 1.5B compiled from a build 400-500 OR my compiled from build 509 seems to be going well, so take your pick. What I am guessing is that those warnings that build 600+ are commenting on (order modification, order close etc) in the compiler seem to affect the overall performance of this ea because this EA was built prior to build 600!!! Hopefully all should be fine now and those pesky bugs stay away!!! Also hopefully the widget I have posted works ok, as gives an idea on how the EA is tracking via this competition and its careful profitability. What I mean is that it is not a crazy stacker of trades etc, but everyone should understand that by how it is performing so far. Regards, Charles P.S. Note for anyone wanting a 'seemingly safe' grid style EA (apart from this one) is a plug for Jose Garcia posts at "Blessing: some new applications to play with". Go to that forum page here at SHF and check out 'THE CHESSBOARD'. You need one trade station per currency as per the instructions, and I am now testing GBP's with much success, and with a small but safe return of 5-20% after two weeks per currency I think this one has good qualities and a solid EA also. I asked Jose to release the limitation on trading less amounts, so find my page near the end as per $1000 start as I think expecting people to invest $5k per currency is pretty far fetched and I wanted to know if trading off $1k start would work without crashing the account and so far this seems very safe. |

Hi, Can anyone verify or am I wrong in observation I made today at the news of Germany. The SebGrid_a version, only opens new order at the end of the next candle or candle. And the release SebGrid_B open orders through the candle. It's SebGrid_B version, opened a purchase order during the current candle formation. thank you |

HI Ruiflavius, I can't vouch any satisfaction from Ricky's Sebgrid 1B and would highly recommend you use the version I just posted, re the 509 build as seems very stable so far. Also, Sebgrid1.5a only opens new trades after bar closed, but if you add the EA during a candle, then EA will load trade if previous candle was extreme. You should try on the tester if you don't understand as this shows it working as per rules etc. On thinking about all the problems I have had so far with the so-called 'bugs' that have come about, I am thinking that they have all related to the newer builds 600+ that Metaquotes have forced on us, as running this bot before then (as in last year) I did not experience any problems, and therefore wanted to show off this EA for all to enjoy. After all the trouble I blame the build 600+ and metaquotes and HOPE everyone enjoys ewhat I have enjoyed in the past. So, I say it again, use the EA from my previous post with the file name of Sebgrid1.5a.OOTB.build509. Sorry I have noticed one small error that I set up this with the lot multiplier set to 1.75, so for lower starting amounts (1500 etc) use the lot multiplier to 1.25. Regards, Charles |

I have seen at leat 50+ grid martingale accounts blow up, so I would like to remind people that make sure to withdraw your profits, Grid martingale EA are high risk, because market will surprise you. http://www.mql5.com/en/signals/45973 $2500 0.01 lots Grid martingale EA profits : 900% in 1.5 year Withdraw 400+% Now, Its equity stop on 2 pairs now and loss 60% and still have one more pair with big drawndown which might burn all remind money. http://www.mql5.com/en/signals/47256 $3000 0.01 lots Grid martingale EA Profits: 900% in 9 months withdraw: 200+% It is near blow up now with 50% DD, It is still fighting with the market using couple hedging trades but market is even more tricky to catch it back to high DD. I look at this 2 EA, They are typical as older fashion grid martingale EA, Both of them running mulitple pair instead of signal pair, It might be the key of winning. When I learn basket trading, I knew that forex 28 pairs sum is almost zero = 0, When One pair up, it has to make one pair down, Smart money using this to manipulate market for profits. there are 8 major currency, Sum of them = 0. When One currency up by 100 pips, Other currencies have to lose sum of 100 pips. Someone say that there are 80% range market and 20% trend market, Typical Grid martingale EA are counter trend EA and love range market, My point is that, we should run this EA with multiple pair of all 8 major currency, Withdraw profits, and I think that once equity stop trigger, it should close all trades and pause new trades open for that pair and wait for us to check that why it going on..... . |

hey charles can i ask that if my account start is $5000, is it ok to leave the multiplier at 1.75? as i noticed that when i was loading it on my charts but wasnt sure thanks trader
