Hi Steve,

yesterday i opened a live cent account at roboforex, and i fell over some problems.
at first, i get an error in the experts tab:

2014.12.03 07:00:44.288 Holy Graily Bob USDJPY,H1: USDJPY Holy Graily Bob OP_BUY order send failed with error(131): invalid trade volume
2014.12.03 07:10:42.986 Holy Graily Bob USDJPY,H1: USDJPY Holy Graily Bob OP_BUY order send failed with error(131): invalid trade volume
2014.12.03 07:20:46.645 Holy Graily Bob USDJPY,H1: USDJPY Holy Graily Bob OP_BUY order send failed with error(131): invalid trade volume


those errors only occur on JPY pairs, others are working fine. Any idea how to fix that?

Second problem, HGB wants to open range trades exactly every ten minutes (see above). I think it could be fixed with the number of range trades set to 1, but i think that shouldn't be the solution.

Edit: Just after writing this text, HGB started opening a range trade on JPY pairs, so it kind of fixed itself, but i think the 10 minute problem still remains. Anybode else has this problem?

see post #305 by Radar, not sure it will fix your problem. I have fixed mine. I have also use this to fix my Secret Bob v1g.

Nope, what I posted won't fix that... I only prevented the SL adjustment problem, it won't fix the invalid lot-size problem.

At least it is telling us what's wrong, (Lot is either too small, or too big)... Copy the following into an empty text file, save it as Lot_Info.mq4 and save it into your Scripts folder... Drop it on any chart to find out Minimum, Maximum, and Step sizes...

There's nothing in HGB that messes with the lot sizes, so it has to be caused by your current lot sizes being incompatible with one of the above br0ker settings for USDJPY.

And bear in mind that I get seriously pissed at people who blame my code for their own stupid mistakes. That is code that has worked seamlessly and flawlessly time and time again for years.

Anyone here not aware of what happens when I get pissed at someone? Do say, and I will show you with pleasure.

I do include a certain amount of idiot checking in my code but I am not going to try to accommodate every dimwit too thick to use an EA properly. The ability to use an ea is one of my post 1 stipulated requirements. Frankly, if you cannot even set your lot size correctly, then go to Babypips and learn how to.

Elixe fixed the faulty code that resulted from my mis-understanding the wavy lines. Given that the faulty version banked 60 pips overnight and currently has trades open a c. +350, the fixed version should be an absolute monster.

Coming up is adding to Trend/Rad trades every x pips. I promised Bob a script to place the pendings for him, so I will do that and add the code to HBG later on.

This is fun.

Started with an old demo, and never cleared the error-inflicted trades.
Between the banked losses this week and the float, over 1.000 green pips.

This one is on the H1, after trying [and nearly loosing my shirt] on the M15. Just changed TF, didn't bother to clear the old trades.

Hi Steve,

Not sure if you mentioned this to be on your to-do list, the EA still opens multiple trades for a single signal.
See attached, 3 trades on a trend signal, each 10 minutes apart [being the indi-check delay].
