But all in all you are on track mate !

These phases with some loosers must appear, no doubt. At the end it's only important what you'll get after 2-3 months or so .... :smile: ;)

Hi Plateman, how do you set up the Multitrades? Does ATR TP/SL settings apply to them too?

As far as I am aware the ATR applies to the main trade only, multi trades are a a fixed formula of TP=30, SL=300, which has been found in the past to be successful.

Thanks for the clarification!

Not sure about that plateman. A R:R of 10:1 will only ever have one result in the long term and it won't be pretty.

Has been successful in the past according to Nanningbob with his HGI system, not me. PPOS is a merger of Pipsmasher and the multitrading part of Bobs HGI system.

Yes but HGI is an indicator, not a system, and Bob trades manually using fundamentals and large amounts of discretion. If you can do the same using PPoS as a trading tool, you might succeed.

But it's obvious that there are many here who don't have the first clue about trading- they need to know that trading PPoS with the OOTB multi trade settings will - eventually - end in a bad way.

V 1g is in post 1, with a fix for the bot sending trades when first loaded rather than waiting for the open of a new candle. Ignore it if you are running PPoS on a vps or your computer/demo platform never crashes.

There is a simple line of code that prevents the trades from being sent that I had commented out. I cannot imagine why I did that - probably during the multi-trade development period. Those of you who want to make your own change, go to line 922.

Change

//if (!EveryTickMode) OldBarsTime = iTime(Symbol(), TradingTF, 0);

to

if (!EveryTickMode) OldBarsTime = iTime(Symbol(), TradingTF, 0);

This removes the "//" comment indication and forces PPoS to wait for the open of a new candle before sending a trade - you will see the line of code change colour from grey.
