Gertje,

What are your results on the GBPJPY for this week? I'm curious to know as we have different settings. I am using 10 pips apart, 10 pips TP and 10 Euros on the hedge TP.

Interesting. I only got about half as much at +535. I am wondering whether it has to do with my settings, your method or possibly my broker having a larger spread. Either way, I am still happy with +535 pips as a set and forget EA. :smile:

I think the settings bring the same, approximately.

Below an example of what I did, closing the sell side that was in profit before the 'mid-day-reverse' .

Now wait for the buy side to go into profit and close again.

Although I am happy for you and hoping that you get a lot of pips. I personally am staying away from manually closing trades. It becomes a point where you are assuming that the buy side is going to take up. If it doesn't then surely it will take longer to close the hedge profit positions.

Another thing I thought about with what you are doing... How does that affect your L4 and grid calculations?

It's demo and a way to test things, I agree that one must be very carefull with manual interference. On the other side, no way will I let a pair accumulate several 100 positions without stopping it.

The grid and L4 etc. are re-calculated once you close out one side.
