Hi Guys,

This is fast becoming an Ea of choice for me :clap: Nevertheless I would need at least a month testing before any live trading. Important for me, would be through a process of elimination decide which currency pairs I would want to run live.

I agree with ParFour having all three time frames aligned is not enough - entering after a retrace is the way to go (in my opinion) - LT up, MT up then M15 retraces goes down and then aligns up again that is the point to enter..... and with minimum drawn down, can this be done :hi:

Hi Guys,

I have not much time today to go further.

Concerning the CSS.icustom, it is tricky, normally you shouldn’t have this kind of issue.

Here the CSS file which you should place in your platform’s indicators folder.

I hope it will fix the issue for you guys having trouble with the DB.

If this DB is a success I will hardcode the CSS calculation into the DB directly.

I will try to update post 1 with latest files… later in the week when I will have a chance.

Also, good point concerning CSS dif when trades are opened. I will check with you guys later this week if we should include such a filter.

I couldn't comment on the coding feasibility but I think we are also in agreement with @rangerlp as regards aligning the diffs before signalling the trading direction. I suppose this describes continuing strength, whether it happens to be a retrace or not. It certainly gets my vote.
Today, I've switched to W1/H4/H1.. I've subbed D1 for H1, initially to get a little more testing activity. Having said that, if H1 and H4 are aligned with W1 then D1 ought to be looking after itself! This is what I will continue to test with this week.

Just a thought Guys,

Daily Css has long been regarded as the direction to follow by Nanningbob. Yes of course there is a difference between Super Css and the normal Css but your most powerful signals will come in the direction of the daily css so having a set of 4h, 1h and 15 minutes will have to be quick in and out trades in my opinion with a basket t/profit of 1% or less. A worthy test set in my opinion would be Daily, 4 Hrs and 15 minutes. Have not tried it yet as I have been concentrating on Daily, 4 hrs and 1hr as my daily trades. Weekly trades would be w1, Daily and 4 Hr. As long as the daily is in the mix.

Anyway just my opinion

Must say, I tried before many CSM indicators paid and free.... I am impressed from CSS. Really is.

The way I entered:
Weekly + Daily CSS Agree
4H CSS Cross on new candle OR crossed on recent hours
Daily ALF (MTF) & EMA 195 Trend Confirmation (Price break and closed above EMA 195 for buy or below for SELL)

Comes well along with my strategy based on EMAs and ALF indicators.

For some reason i cannot see an option attach screen shot files here in the post. But I dont want attach URL to avoid go against the forum rules.

When you create or edit a post, you have "Options" and "Upload attachment" below the editing window.
