Noobs invariably fall into the trap of trading anything that moves. Right at the start of my Forex journey(over a decade ago) I came across a thread at FF entitled something along the lines of, "How to make 20 pips a day."
"Ridiculous," I thought. "Any idiot can make multiples of 20 pips a day."
And then came close to going bankrupt after borrowing heavily to fund the live trading account that I blew within weeks. My Welcome message to new members contains the advice never to trade with funds you cannot afford to lose. I did exactly that and nearly lost our family home.
This is good in a way. Had I not ignored the advice and harvested the 20 pips a day on offer then this forum would not have come into existence.
It was a harsh lesson though, so noobs take note. When Sharky sits out for a week or two, there are good and cogent reasons why.
