Hi,

Thanks Steve for this huge trade manager,
I used it a lot to manage thirdparty ea, i used the function Hedge with some success

the HedgingIncrementpips seems to not respond at what i was expected from the definition

This past week my ea entered a sell on EURUSD around 1.2430
i set
HedgeatLosspips: 30 pips
HedgeLotspercent: 100%
HedgingIncrementpips: 20 pips

was expecting

Hedge Buy at 1.2460
and next hedge buy following at each increment of 20 pips
next Buy at 1.2480......

But in fact
i had my hedge entry at 1.2460 that's ok
but no increment at 1.2480

Could you help me on solving this, i look some the code and fail finding what's wrong but i'm not an expert.

Nope, sorry. I assume this function worked when I coded it back in about 2008. Since then, there have been about 1000 updates, any one of which could have have derailed it - and that is before we even start on whether you are using it properly or not.

Given the number of fantastic coders who have added to mptm since I first published it, I am inclined to think you are doing something wrong. I might not be correct here, but I have learned from grim and bitter experience not to go bug-hunting an established function on the say-so of an individual contributor with a problem.

Steve is it possible to incorporate the AdaptivePipsTakeProfit function that you have added to most of the NB EA's?

It might be. Mptm's code is terrifying, but I will look into it. You mean for basket trading?

hi,
opened this ea on exnessmini demo. used following settings:
always on - true
manage all trades - true
breakeven - true
breakeven pips - 10
breakeven profit - 2
hide breakeven stop - true
profit from visual BE - 50
jumping stop - true
jumping pips - 25
add BEP - true
jump after BE- false
hide jumping stop - true
pips away from visual JS - 100
part close enabled - true
close lot - 0.30
hide stop loss enable - true
hidden stop loss - 45
DoNotOverload5DigitCriminals = false

dragged the remove stop losses.mq4 on the chart from scripts folder
started the ea
all my trades closed down immediately stating stop loss hit.
can anyone please help.

want to manage my trades as follows:
sl 45 pips
tp1 - 10 pips, 1/3 rd of order should close and sl should move to BE
tp2 - 25 pips, 1/3 rd of order should close and sl should move to tp1
tp3 - 50 pips, last 1/3 rd order should close

can anyone please help, would be grateful. thanks in advance.

Hi Steve,

really like your coding.

I have put MPTM on a mixed-economy set of charts, some currency, indices and commodities using ManageAllTrades set to true and AddMissingStopLoss set to True for 50 pips. Problem is on Dow it sets a 500 pip stop loss!

Although Digits = 1, GKFX trade £ per 0.1, i.e £ per point, the bar stewards, so I think this throws the value of 1 pip calculations out of the window.

I suppose for now I can create different instances of the platform and have MPTM configured differently for each, configuring MPTM across all the different charts is another, very tedious, option.

I'd appreciate your advice.
