26up Monday, good start of the week, 7 targets hit in the morning and goldy closed for the rest of the day.
27hugedown Tuesday, apologies to all folks following this log, I went fly a bit on Tuesday. Having remember the possibility of tightening the distance between trades, I have put goldy into only 10 pip distance in between both starter trade and grid trades. Things was well for 2-3 targets hit in the beginning of pacific market, but snowballed all the way down throughout and landed with a huge loss right before start time of London market. This inconsistent testing was totally out of discipline and was an insult to all speculators and myself. I am deeply sorry for this matter and learned that how greedy can break anything in just a flick. (-474.44GBP)
I shall refund the demo back to 1252.07, the closing equity of Monday, and revert the setting to 30 pip for starter and 20 pip for grid. No more goldy settings will be changed again throughout June anymore.
28up Wednesday, with settings back to 30 pip distance starter trade, 20 distance grid trade, today we are doing great. Although ADX indicate very tight and sideway market 0100-0900, it does not affect goldy's trade. 5 target hit, profit more than 5%, I will stop goldy from US market today.
29up Thursday, receiving V1f update from Steve, from this day on we will monitor the strategy of trading on both with and without ADX indicator. It was a profit day for both version of goldy. Both took profit over 5% when I check them after opening and of London market, I closed the goldy v1e for securing the profit, but left the goldy 1f with ADX running throughout the day.
Result for v1f looks great! although it did not hit as much target as v1e, the high volume between 1400-1930 make v1f more exposure and eventually hitting more targets.
A great day 1, let us see where it goes.

30down and up Friday, a tricky day to summarize.
In the pacific market until 0530, ADX was low and no movement was made through V1f, meanwhile 1e is hitting the target a few times. The rise of ADX index close trades before London market did not bring much gain to v1e, ended with one target hit and several offsets.
1e was doing great during pacific market time, hitting the target several time. Things reversed when US market starts, when 1f rapidly hitting the target multiple time, and cleaned up the mess before 1400, seizure time for Friday trading.
1e also was doing well in the beginning, but somehow trapped in the leak toilet situation around 1400-ish, although constant grid trading has pushed the balance of 1e to around 1600, equity went down really bad, worst scenario -500-ish.
I manually close all open trades for 1e about an hour before market closed on Friday, ending in losing most of the profit made on Thursday, but still a bit more than Wednesday.

Conclusion and thoughts from week02:
- Never jump around with settings, stay with one set until there is obvious optimization to make.
- One more rule of discipline need to be add on book: when trading without ADX, one need to focus more around closing time of set timeframe, i.e. current trade timeframe is +0100-1000+1500-1700, a constant check on goldy's status should be made around 1000 and 1700, to make sure a manual closure can take place to minimize the loss.
- If its goldy's trade time, let it thrive. If no, take an eye on the situation and intervene.
There was several moments when goldy happen to have several potential DD during trade time, but it all resolved it self, but the market that goes sideways (low ADX, outside pacific market) could lead to a leak toilet situation. Goldy is unlikely to resolve any pipe problems, in which moments manual intervention can be very helpful to control the loss.
- Do not be greedy, take the loss when its small.
- ADX seems to work very well in the last two days, we shall see if it is an coincidence or we can really rely on.
All currency is in GBP, starter trade distance 30, grid trade distance 20, target for equity set to 1.0, ADX setting to SizeOfDollop and offsetting strategy all different to default.
Result of goldy with ADX will be displayed in reversed colour.
