Hi Pooler, great idea with this system. I love that it profits from the one thing all markets always do... retrace! I have been running since Monday on 23 ( I think ) pairs. Lots is 0.1, it is currently up $1463.50.

The most margin it has used is about $5000. Highest level it has gone to is 4. It makes me wonder, that with the huge amount of pips this makes, if you couldn't run a basket/trade loss limit based off X weeks of profit or % of account as a total, knowing that it should recover ( if the last few days are any indication ).

Thanks I will continue to play with this and follow the thread.

Would also be interesting to see how it would go if you only allowed it 1 buy sequence and 1 sell sequence per set trading session, per market, just a thought.

I'm busy demoing some Eur pairs to test my theory. Essentially if this works it means you benefit with a trend and trend retracement in one trade.

First of all, many thanks for sharing your EA and ideas on this forum. I've not been following this thread too closely however I'm interested on your latest thoughts in terms of its development.

I am a coder and in the absence of any other coder offering to help you, I'll gladly step in and assist you where I can. I do have to warn you however that my time is limited due to work and family commitments but I'll certainly help out if no-one else does.

I don't want to start working on the EA if someone else already is, so let me know the current position and we can take it from there.

I am test the "FXPooler EA modified" version, and following post-1 excel file "Settings 2.xlsx" to set the EA parameter, why I got these error message,what is wrong for me :D

any advice is appreciate :D

I have been back-testing "FXPooler EA v2.1.mq4" for the last week and it continues to surprise me. If one uses conservative leverage then the account grows consistently.

Philip, I look forward to the evolution of this EA and will be more than happy to continue to help with the testing. I am beginning to forward test and trust that there are others on this forum that can report their findings so that we can all benefit.

I haven't read through just yet but I know with Bob's multi level recovery system he shuts off the worst performing trade once it reaches level 4. Perhaps you could do the same?

I had 7 X's today that did not place pending orders on one side of the pivot line. Bit of a bugger as that would have been 7 more winners. Not sure if they were not placed by design or an issue ( with my setup ). However still going strong, so far this week up $1912.25 lots set to .1

The hammer will come at some point, but this has been dealt with before here by very clever people, and it seems like it would have the ability to recover from a loss. At least so far.

I overcame this with setting all the Aus pairs opening time at 23h01, Eur prs 23h02 etc.

Too much for EA's brain to open all pairs at 23h00
