It was a manual trade....I'll post my setup file later to be more clear. After all, I'm now trading pairs not (immediately) involved with brexit (AUD,CAD, and some how USD) and the system is working again perfectly. So the problem could really be abnormal market condition due to Brexit.... I'll keep you informed. |

Good stuff ngigliet and very good results but I think you're finding the issues that come with trading over a longer period of time. Like you I am testing lots of things using version 1z and also Steve's latest version with different leverage amounts and dollops per $1k etc. As most seasoned traders keep telling us the one system that performs the best over a longer period is the one that is the least aggressive as it is able to handle the more volatile times without losing too much but also make you well and truly enough money when things go your way. I run six currencies and was making great gains (and did so again yesterday) but the last week has been unsurprisingly strange. I kept the system running this week just to test things but I'd be out for the week if it was not a demo account. Anyway look forward to seeing your SET file as I am trading the H1 on 1z with the 6 top currencies and on Stop/Limit. I don't use any of the stop loss settings, just the close on opposite setting and Lifesys's profit taking manager and close every day at 5am Aussie time. |

Guys please take into consideration that this is probably the worst time to trade (with the GB referendum coming up). Most brokers have increased their margins and an otherwise safe trade has now become a potential ticking bomb ready to cause margin calls. My advice .. is simple ...........Stay out of the market unless you know what you are doing Matt  |

Bob says it best, always trade in a way that you can live to trade another day. If that means taking a few days off from trading you can't go wrong with this sage advise. If you are running an algo on live money on these markets while the UK is handling their business and you get destroyed in the process you deserve it. If you are running it on demo, we probably don't care. It's not a measure of success. If you complain this bot is performing terribly because of these market conditions, you should be captured, imprisoned, hung at dawn, shot, revived, hung again, shot again and publicly disemboweled just for the humiliation and fun factor of it all. Don't crap up the thread again and piss Steve off because you aren't smart enough to realize that an algo will never perform better than a human being and that most professional traders are standing aside during this time. Just take a few days off... There will always be better weeks to trade. |

Been playing with a new strategy for last two weeks. The idea was to minimize DD and still take small profits. It seems to be doing very well at taking profits, DD is less but still not to a point where I would like it to be. Steve helped me test the idea by adding functionality to re-populate the grid if it traced back to the original trigger price. The Idea is to tp at each level on a larger grid. So for example let's say you have a grid of 12 buy/sell and TP of 12. if the price shoots up/down in one direction, great. If it whiplashes we still made profit but it will fill the gap if the price returns to start price. I will let Steve update you guys on it if he has time, I'm off to Vacation, but I'm letting it run and see what it does over the next week. |

 Very true Matt - there's no way I'd be trading with live money this week or next. I'm sitting out the rest of June I think while things settle down. While HGI is unbelievably good - nothing is going to work in this kind of volatility. |

I was going to go to Los Vegas this week for vacation but something came up. Instead of betting in Vegas on slots, I'm dropping my gambling roll of 200 bucks and going all in on the vote. Exactly the same as gambling. All other accounts are dormant, even the demo's !!! EA's will get killed, even this one. |

Entry for long and short stops place as a straddle and walk away. A little bit of Vegas for the world! The 200 is now 3294. Over and out. I actually used an EA to place the entry stop orders and to take the open trades to breakeven, so officilly and EA can trade news! Lol. How did the HGB'G demo's fair? Did anyone have it running? |

Hi, I had it running OOTB and handsfree on the majors H4 charts. The EA got in trouble Thursday/Friday. I left the positions open over the weekend just to see if it will recover. Wouldnt recommend this for a live account  Cheers, Thomas |
