What would you guys do in a situation like this?
what do you mean, all the AUD pairs have been showing sell signals... well except for AUDCAD
well yeah, yesterday. then i closed up my trading for the day. didnt get any this morning after the unemployment report. just asking what everyone else would do. I guess there have been signals when it retraced a tad on the m30.
Just me being new. trying to figure out what are the more stronger signals. Would love to hear from you guys!

I don't know if it is this week, or if it is me, but I just cannot get my entrances right. Either I miss the move (EUR a week ago, CAD after that and AUD this morning), or those that I do manage to get into, go horribly wrong (like yesterday and today). Monday was okay with plus 200 pips, but I have given all of that back, and have a floating DD at the moment.

I am using only trend trades BTW, no CT trades...

I am assuming that it is user incompetence, but also that the markets are difficult this week...

Anybody else find that?

H

PS, I hate the news  it seems that everyone is waiting for the news to hit, and here we are expecting a move, and, nothing...(even though the news was neutral, surely a move or two is not out of the question, I mean USD strengthened after a poor payroll report the other day...)

Hey guys I know is frustrating. Specially when Bob talks about all those pips  but you have to remember that he doesn't trade his system exclusively, he goes for all the spectrum of tactics to get into trades. Don't be afraid to buy new highs, sell new lows, play support and resistance, play the break trough moving averages (I'm forcing myself to do this). Remember that he also almost never cuts his losses at the 240 MA. If you have a trade that has crossed the 60 MA look if the CSS is showing signs of going against you. Be nimble.
Also, I don't know about you but my floating DD is 1%, well below the 10% that should be acceptable for this kind of trading.

I also have a question about css.

The info page displays other values than the css at the D1 template.
which display is correct or reliable?

The other question is, why not take advantage of the 1H css
to confirm or to substantiate an entry? For the next 30 pips would have to still be good, right?

I have been thinking the same thing ! (WRT CSS).. Pls refer the CSS in the two attached images below ;
Info Page.jpg
EURUSD.jpg
Its the same TF and same broker but giving significantly different readings in the CSS. These differences have nothing to do with zoom levels. No idea how this could be happening and what is more accurate ? Any thoughts / comments much appreciated.. Cheers !

I started my demo this sunday, and the first two days were like a dream, load up the orders EA, and go to sleep, wake up and see the bounty.
BUT Tuesday night - now, I believe we finally reached a retrace, as everything had to take a 2nd or a 3rd entry to help out. I am currently carrying a 2.5% DD but I also have a booked profit of about 3.25%.. for a net profit of about 0.75%... not much, but hey small hits right?

Hi
Do not despair!!! The name of the game in FOREX is Survival. You should trade and endeavor to survive. If you manage to survive for more than 2 years whilst trading then you will have enough experience to ensure profitable trading. Stick with it and do not rush things. You will overcome rough periods.
Kind regards
