First we have no idea what you are talking about. You need to tell us what currency and time frame you are using. The 10.7 gives you two warnings, one at the 90 line and again at the 70 on sells and 10 line and 30 line on buys. Since most of a move is on the other side of the STO that gives you plenty of time to check your chart and enter a trade. ON a 4 hour chart many times these signals give you 4-8 hours to place your trade and and wait out the move. So I have no idea what you are referring to. Here are some examples. I marked the areas where you would get signals at the 90/70 lines and again at the 10/30 lines

If the user would read the entire thread he would understand that this is no repainting...

Cheers :)

I am going to be on Skype after 10 AM EST or in about an hour. I want to discuss a weekly candle idea with some traders and programmers. You must have a broker that can trade in both directions and small lots to test this idea. If you are interested in the session just look for nanningbob on Skype and have your Empty4 open with weekly charts. I think the idea is strong and simply plays the weekly candle direction. Open trades on Monday and keep adding all week and close on Friday or whenever you think profit is strong enough. Its a crazy idea but I need someone that also understands math and can work it out.

I dont trade the aud/nzd, eur/chf, aud/cad, eur/gbp. They simply dont move enough to bother trading. Too slow for me.

Mr Bob

First of all as a newcomer to this forum I would like to thank you very much for your tireless and totally unselfish work. After trying many of the 'other' forums I finally found this one. Initially the site looked a bit intimidating as it appeared heavy on the coding and technical side of things but your individual forum brought a smile to my face. I couldn't believe the on the surface simplicity of 10.7 yet I can the see the incredible resolve of not only you but other forum members who have helped in putting this system together. All great things look simple on the outside.

I am trading H1, x 15 low spread pairs in conjunction with your trading philosophy. Low risk, small lots - (hopefully) big gains. As you can see from my attached image it's all going well so far.

My only question is how do I get an alert for both H1 and H4 stoch crossing 10,30,70,90? At present I have to switch TF, is there a mtf option in one of the indicators I have missed?

Many thanks

hi Bob,

I was not able to make it to your skype session so not sure what exactly your idea was. It sounds similar to an idea i read in forex factory. Their idea is to catch the move of the whole week on the weekly candle. Set up pending buy and sell on Sunday and close on Friday if the order surrived. They only enter once a week though to avoid overtrade. Here is the link Just thought it might be helpful to you.

this depends on your tf, if you use H4, it will take six candles (6x4=24).

Cheers :)

I think you might have mis understood.. i'm talking about the yellow STO at the bottom

i'm just wondering if it holds on the first candle when it goes flat.. after the candle closes

on the 4h TF.. it bounces back and forth, i just wanna know how many candles it takes to close flat after moving from 0 to 100
it knows per nature of the setting 2.1.1 only two values 0 and 100 depending if price is > or < than last closed D1 candle. So on a open D1 candle it can in day many times with the price movement change from 0 to 100 or viceversa.

Cheers :)
