Thank you Steve!

All has only been possible with the help of the talented coders around at SHF.
For instance Renee, he managed to program an idea I had, within hours after me spitting it out.
TradeReplicator was born, and what a baby!

Attached the GBPAUD H4 chart.
In the blue rectangle all the closed trades since the 12th of oktober, when PoS fired it's initial trade on the pair.
I entered a grid of pendings then, 25 pips apart, TP @ 25 pips. Everytime one of these trades closed, TradeReplicator send a new limitorder with the same opening and TP price as the one that has just closed.
When the market retraces like it always does, the limitorder opens and is able to TP again.
In case the markets retraces a LOT, PoS's fill_the_gap feature kicks in and opens a new pending.
Depending on where price is at that moment, and how many trades are opened I will step in and change the TP/ enter new pendings to repair the grid/ let recovery do it's thing.

Thanks to Peaky, I can do this, fully convinsed that price will go my way sooner or later.
Most of the time later than sooner, but that's where patience kicks in. :mrgreen:

The result is that in little over 3 weeks, this pair managed to add 1773 pips to the account.
And even with small lotsizing of 0.02 lots, this means €210,- in cash.

I have removed peaky from my live accounts because I could not tolerate the DD

This grid orders are sell or buy? :)
What is the logic of the manual grid, do you use it if a certain percentage of DD is exceeded, what are the launch conditions? did you use a script? Can we incorporate it automatically?

GBPUSD was intolerant to me and I had to close orders manually...

In this case it was sell, when Peaky say’s BUY, they would be buy’s obviously,

Probably none.
As soon as POS fires his initial trade, I populate the area between the original open and TP with a grid of pendings in the same direction as the initial trade. I’m expecting price to go that way sooner or later.

Then you were probably trading to big a lot size in regards to the account size.
Right now, after the huge DD I had, I doubled my dollup to (depending on the 6th distance of any pair);
0,01/10.000
0,01/20.000
0,01/30.000
0,01/40.000

The last one I stretched a bit, as my account isn’t there yet. :jump:

Currencies bundling up again, wonder which one will come out strong....
According to my open positions, it should ne AUD, NZD and EUR.

Hi Zaf,

I'm doing fine with PoS, although EUR is giving me a hard time at the moment.
Especially EURUSD where I have a huge open basket with negative swap, swap now over 2K.... :arrrg:
Sometime in the future the tide will turn though, but when? :oops:

There is not much to write about, hence the silence here in the thread.

The settings haven't changed the last year or so, on my live account I lowered the the risk and am making 3-4% on a monthly basis now.

Nice. what dollop amount do you use now to get those results?
I searched an older post which said "0.01/ €10.000 - €30.000 now, trading 28 pairs and expect to make 4-5% monthly", but wanted to check if that is still correct.

Also did you keep up with the grid method you were using in addition to this?
