I just got lost with the speed of new ideas in our 10.3 thread, so decided to take some time off to cool it and then in a calm mood noticed this thread on mothership FF

I do have to say though that after checking out Forex Factory over the last 3 months, things have noticeably slowed down over the last couple of months down there, judging from the quality of posts and new ideas. Steve H certainly was a major contributor over at FF until Bob and he set up shop over here... but those few old ideas keep popping up everywhere from the FF original sources.

Re: Trader Joe, well, no one knows if he actually only does sells. But in any case, I certainly would like to see someone write a bot for the Flying Buddha under various TFs. In fact I am surprised that our very prolific Steve never wrote one...he is credited with starting 83 threads at FF, and most of them are about collecting ideas and then implementing EAs.

And yes, Ronald Raygun does still write posts at FF, lately including this Flying Buddha thread (called equity millipede by EasyPips.)

PS. Re: your own geothermal and million acre desalination plans, you might have read the 2nd book by the author of Guns, Germs and Steel (forget title, but long live amazon.com) , where this Berkeley professor cites the Australian continent as a case study of where agriculture cannot be sustained because of a long term natural history.

Geothermal is still a tough call; they still can't do solar right after 60 years of R&D- the problem is that you need fundamental scientific breakthroughs at the molecular level for most of these new fuels to work, unlike the easy pickings of writing apps or building new Internets. Both Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan had public transport running on wood stoves, and built gas fuels from recycled chemicals (Germany) and algae (Japan) so claims of innovation today are just bogus.

But hey, if the Aussie government is generous (or stupid) enough to offer land improvement subsidies to jump start the ag economy, who could complain ! And don't give up on those new oil and gas shale leases- winning those could make you enough money to implement some environmental sanity.

Thanks for all of that Athar, I'm checking out the PDF now. It was on my list of things to-do to find out where I got it from; just never got to it before you did .

I can't understand why the mysterious "Joe" only sells and not buys at all. And certainly I am very open to using this during the quiet times at M5, rather than Joe's use of it during busy times at H4.

I've not come across any EA's for it before.

Peeps, I am getting Conflicting Signals on my Empty4 Criminal's Platforms, check out the USD/JPY, one Criminal's signals with the 10.3 simple says Sell, ( Maroon) whilst another Criminal's Empty4 Platform with 10.3 Simple say's Buy (Green) and Price with looking at the Magnified Market Price is about the same, has anyone Noticed this problem. : Happy Trading Y'all xrismak.

xrismak, Although I haven't kept up with changes to 10.3, I'm pretty sure this is what I was posting about syncing criminals so we get same signals across them all. Good for all traders, especially ones that have multiple brokers, and as far as being able for all us retail traders to trade as one force vs the banksters. UPDATE: This is as close as I've gotten. You'll notice that there are not enough bars to get last month startbar/open price on H1, so last month open time is much later than last month open time and last month open price is 0. IME, monthly open price that Empty4 gives me is correct, so can use what Empty4 gives. IME, weekly and daily open price need to use current chart if possible, since Empty4 does not give correct weekly or daily open price on non GMT+2 brokers. So even if we can get close when trying to sync weekly and daily open prices, and I do in fact e.g. use the first bar of week for open price of week, due to some brokers starting week later than others, and some ending week earlier than others, we can't sync the brokers any closer than using the broker's own first and last bar of week. In the attached pics, we see weekly and daily are different. Why? FXDD closes earlier than 5 PM Eastern on Friday, so ends last week with different price than MBT (used in pivot calculation), and starts new week also with different price than MBT (used in next week's pivots and Tuesday pivots). So although I have done the best I can, I must agree with Bob and others that we can't sync the brokers (even if we want to). Having said that, my daily pivots are certainly closer TRYING to sync vs not trying at all. BTW, it's not about just adding sunday to monday which existing pivots do, but moving the start of EVERY day of week to 17:00 Eastern. Kindest regards, Don P.S. Also, getting the open's synced is just part of it. Getting the iHighest and iLowest to use the correct bars is the other hurdle, which I have not overcome. If I had, then my daily pivots and S/R when using syncing would match on FXDD the daily pivots and S/R when using no syncing on FXDD. We have dealt with this issue in the past, there is no changing it. Time zones are different, quoted prices are different, different banks charge different rates, brokers are different. Just accept the fact that is just the way it is and you will never come up with a code that will make all indicators show the same thing. Why? because every single bank, broker, country, timezone, etc etc etc. can change at any time when others dont. It is a fluid market that you cannot make static. That is a simple fact of Forex that you will just have to deal with. Get over it.

Awesome Baluda, That indeed could also be true, anyway I have found a Solution to the conflict, it's a simple wait and see, don't trade until my feelings/Indicators line up on all Empty4 Platforms and tell me otherwise. I am just tired of dealing with this issue. It has been going on for years. EAs, dont enter at the same price, indicators dont synch, I am just tired of dealing with it but dont mean to be harsh in my answer.
