Version 2j is in post 1. From the updated user guide:

Margin checks: these help avoid over-trading by limiting the number of trades that can be opened. this EA will make the calculations before sending a trade and abort if there is insufficient margin to allow further trading. There are two to chose from; the default indicates my preference.
Scoobs check: scooby-doo is a former pro trader with the big banks; we have benefited hugely from his advice. This filter compares the current account margin with the free margin divided by 100, and aborts the trade if the margin is greater than the result of this calculation.

ForexKiwi check.ForexKiwi contributed this filter. It looks at the margin percent figure and aborts the trade if yours is less than the figure you specify in FkMinimumMarginPercent.

Enforced safety protection: read the few pages following my post at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 27#p111127 for some blood-curdling descriptions of what can happen when you over-trade. Live trading accounts have these anti over-trading measures enforced (and the only way around them is to learn to program and alter the code yourself)):
if you select neither of the margin checks, HGB will select ForexKiwi for you, with a minimum FkMinimumMarginPercent of 500.
if you select ForexKiwi with FkMinimumMarginPercent < 500, HGB will reset it to 500.

HGB will delete your pending trades should your Margin Level fall below FkMinimumMarginPercent, unless there is a market trade already open. It makes sense to leave the pendings in place once you have a market trade open. If you trade the ootb inputs then you will never have more than two trades open at any one time, so it makes sense to take advantage of a market move in your favour.

The code has yet to be tested, so there may be some bloops.

yes Kimmy, I'm going to watch the US session.... price on this pair has never been up here, so who knows what will happen.... I you put you stop above the high (add extra pips if you can tolerate the risk) then you know what the worse case scenario is for this trade and you can relax.... the market will do what it will do... the more relaxed you are, you will notice the market tends to do more of the things you want it to do...! Wiggy[/-1-rep] all set up and will try to do as you suggest.....but "relax" might need to be induced by copious amounts of alcohol later ! as you say the market will do what it will do .....good luck !

Below is an indicator getting last news from Forex Factory: http://www.forexfactory.com/calendar.php?day=today However sometimes they MISS AN IMPORTANT EVENT. So check also manually (or maybe someone will write some code http://www.myfxbook.com/forex-economic-calendar "FFCal 7" saves news to a file "FF_News.txt". EA may load and use this file with LoadNews() function (included at the end of "FFCal 7.mq4") Regards

It was a waste of time then and would be a waste of time now. FF's news calendar is not accurate enough. HGB is not going to have FFCal coded into it.

There's another problem: Some news are rated with 2 stars (middle importance) and that was the case of SNB chairman speaks. (High important news like NFP are rated with 3 stars)
