Hi Phil,

Was just wondering one thing. I know that the S/R indi must be attached to all charts but is there a way to know if marylin has taken it into account ? I remember reading in the thread that the S/R indi should reload every hour or so but I don't see this happening in the my journal/expert tabs :(

Thanks for your input and great results you have indeed, very encouraging.

Cheers,

Zyp

Hi Zyp,

if you are using 0.36 or 0.36b there is no need of the indi attached, it is intergrated in the EA code.
10/05/2013 0.36
- merged no_indi fix by php
- changed TimeElapsedSinceLastHistoTrade() calculation, to calculate from closure of last histo trade, instead of opening.
Cheers :)

I think a pointed gun is quite out of place here.

Even if the pointing is only playfully.

Perhaps I am in a minority of one?

Hello Zyp and Milanese

I look to this modification : It's only for Fractal value that's the code was replace by a new Fractal() function call instead of using Fractal from S/R zone.

But :

1 - I'm not sure that's exactly the same Fractal. Could someone do the compare and check if it is ? Fractal is used to Move SL.

2 - If you want to use Nb Hit, you always need to use S/R indi as EA read Global Variable generate by this indi. Just set param. Show Fractal to false.

example :

Code: Select all

bool AllowedDistanceSRForBuy(string strSymbol)
{
	bool DistanceSR=true;
	for(int i=0;i<=50;i++)
	{
		string MyObjectHit=StringConcatenate("SSSR_HITS_",Symbol(),PERIOD_FRACTAL,i);
		string MyObjectHi=StringConcatenate("SSSR_HI_",Symbol(),PERIOD_FRACTAL,i);
		string MyObjectLo=StringConcatenate("SSSR_LO_",Symbol(),PERIOD_FRACTAL,i);

		if(!GlobalVariableCheck(MyObjectHit))continue;
		if(GlobalVariableGet(MyObjectHit)>=NbHitMaxSRZoneToTakeTrade)
		{
			double MyHiPrice=GlobalVariableGet(MyObjectHi);
			double MyLoPrice=GlobalVariableGet(MyObjectLo);

			if((Bid<=MyLoPrice)&&((MyLoPrice-Bid)<(DeltaPipsFromSRZoneToTakeTrade*Point)))DistanceSR=false;
			if((Bid>=MyLoPrice)&&(Bid<=MyHiPrice))DistanceSR=false;
			if(MyLoPrice*MyHiPrice<(1*Point))DistanceSR=false;
			break;
		}
	}
	return(DistanceSR);
}

bool AllowedDistanceSRForSell(string strSymbol)
{
	bool DistanceSR=true;
	for(int i=0;i<=50;i++)
	{
		string MyObjectHit=StringConcatenate("SSSR_HITS_",Symbol(),PERIOD_FRACTAL,i);
		string MyObjectHi=StringConcatenate("SSSR_HI_",Symbol(),PERIOD_FRACTAL,i);
		string MyObjectLo=StringConcatenate("SSSR_LO_",Symbol(),PERIOD_FRACTAL,i);

		if(!GlobalVariableCheck(MyObjectHit))continue;
		if(GlobalVariableGet(MyObjectHit)>=NbHitMaxSRZoneToTakeTrade)
		{
			double MyHiPrice=GlobalVariableGet(MyObjectHi);
			double MyLoPrice=GlobalVariableGet(MyObjectLo);

			if((Bid>=MyHiPrice)&&((Bid-MyHiPrice)<(DeltaPipsFromSRZoneToTakeTrade*Point)))DistanceSR=false;
			if((Bid>=MyLoPrice)&&(Bid<=MyHiPrice))DistanceSR=false;
			if(MyLoPrice*MyHiPrice<(1*Point))DistanceSR=false;
			break;
		}
	}
	return(DistanceSR);
}
I'm quite very busy with my V2 version so if someone could control this ?

cheers

Yes, I don't appreciate this avatar, and also some silly comment of it's owner !
So I will delete all posts with this bad avatar, and also all future silly comment. It's a good place here, it must stay like this :D

Hi Philippe,

yes, you are 100% right it is only a part integration of the indicator, will later have a look if I not would be better to integrate the indicatorcode completly, so that their is really no need for attaching it...

Code: Select all

double Fractal(int TimeFrame, double FractalFactor, int M, int shift)
{
   int P = TimeFrame * FractalFactor;
   if (TimeFrame > P)
      P = TimeFrame;

   P = P / TimeFrame*2 + MathCeil(P / TimeFrame / 2);

   if (shift < P)
      return(0);

   if (shift > iBars(Symbol(), TimeFrame)-P)
      return(0);

   for (int i=1; i<=P; i++)
   {
      if (M == 1)
      {
         if (iHigh(NULL, TimeFrame, shift+i) >= iHigh(NULL, TimeFrame, shift))
            return(0);
         if (iHigh(NULL, TimeFrame, shift-i) >= iHigh(NULL, TimeFrame, shift))
            return(0);
      }
      if (M == -1)
      {
         if (iLow(NULL, TimeFrame, shift+i) <= iLow(NULL, TimeFrame, shift))
            return(0);
         if (iLow(NULL, TimeFrame, shift-i) <= iLow(NULL, TimeFrame, shift))
            return(0);
      }
   }
   switch(M)
   {
      case -1 : return(iLow(NULL, TimeFrame, shift));
      case  1 : return(iHigh(NULL, TimeFrame, shift));
      default : return(0);
   }
}

Cheers :)
