Do the others show on your platform?

Bruce
Those are the pairs that show with my crim at the moment. For EJ the TMASlope D1 is below 0.8 at the moment. (But you can adjust the threshold in the settings.)

So pretty decent week up 3 percent with around 379 pips made. Will keep updating this weekend with what I did.

Hello all,

It's been an interesting week on the markets with big retracements happening on the trending pairs. Looks like we are back on trend again. I have two open baskets (31 august & 6 September) which are up +2400 pips. It should be interesting to see how the baskets perform over the next week. GBPNZD and AUDNZD dropped back into ranging and I am monitoring them closely but the other pairs still look okay.

Hope you are all trading well! Will keep you posted as to how these baskets develop.

Hi Jem,
In the attachment with your open trades are entries with 0.02 and 1.0 lot for the same currency: is that part of your strategy/MM?
Best regards,

Had a great first week trading with a 3.7% increase in my account. I will opening this week's basket before the London open. Right now looks like I will be heavy on buying Euro and seeing how the week plays out.

My links to myfxbook are in my signature below so most of my stats should be there.

Pretty damn good start to the week, my basket was closed with 320 pip profit. I had accidentally left my adaptive take profit at 40 which I should have moved to 50 or 60 for the Euro pairs this week. Either way 320 pips for one day is quite good, since my main goal is to be bringing in 1000 pips a month.

I am thinking of playing around with the settings and not doing basket trading with this method all the time. maybe take out the adaptive take profit and move to break even, since I do think the basket had a larger move to go.

Gustav - that is what I am doing at the moment. I reverted back to NB's individual pair trades but was stung by a savage retracement which took 1% of the account. Had this trade been part of a basket, it would have been protected by the larger basket stoploss. I think the best way to manage this from experience is to open the trades inside the basket, with adaptive SL and no JS or TP on the basket settings - but use MPTM to manage individual JS.

I'm not even setting a TP or Adaptive TP - as I don't want the trade to be limited by this if the trend is continuing for over a month. Just allow a wide enough Jumping stop to handle the spasms, but soak up the pips when the trend resumes.

Good to know, I like the idea of just letting the trade go with no adaptive TP and just working on the SL. Will try this on my next basket to see how it goes.

I am trying to figure out my entry, since I am still a little confused by the retracement that Shelly uses.
