Hi,

Because if you tried Marylin on multiple charts, you always have to change the Magic.

here is my modification for the lazy. MagicNumber is generated by the symbol. Dont try on graf with open order!

So, i also change dynamic lot - from 0.0004 to 0.0001

Hello there,

beware everyone, tomorow bears the NFPs.....don't really now if I should protect my tiny profit or leave Marylin alone. Considering that we are trading long term, it shouldn't really matter what market does in reacting to the NFPs unless it strongly goes in the wrong direction and hit my stops before retracing !

Thank you, Tommaso.

No worries.

One of my favourite performance metric is Sunny Hariss's CPC Index:

Profit Factor*Percentage of Winning Trades*(Average Win/Average Loss). Pass mark is 120.

Basis this Index, Empty4-907238-JPG, in my opinion, rates very good:

1.94*54.55*1.617=171.22.

it's 50%/50% :D NFP is with or against you ! it depend your risk appetite, and if you have already +120% gain in bank, or just begin, and +2% in equity.

Difficult choice :) I will let all my account running. When we see the FT backtest chart, there is NO manual intervention... but the equity curve is up up up :)

Thanks very much for the reply Phil. The funny thing is, when I am in doubt regarding Marylin I always think of your BT curves with no intervention and always decide to let it do her thing  good luck with your v2.

And here a 10,000 run random equity curve generation. Entirely in agreement with the 171 CPC Index.

So much for "groan", and "work could be possible for you, no?", and "tearful people", and "not rich after two hours of trading".

Or, does this Forum allow snapping at people without even understanding what they write :?: :?: :?:

I've read that there will probably be no NFP news coming out tommorow, due to US shutdown.
