Guys, just to let you know that I have done a bit of post pruning tonight. If yours was one of those that disappeared, then it is either because it made no sense or because I think you are an idiot. You got that right! I was reading the ForexFactory thread on EURCHF, the posts per minute was staggering. But above that, the name calling is outrageous. If I had to chose one of those two options, I pick the "my post made no sense"!!  |

Still a bit confuse about WTF just happened today! SNB removed the peg their currency CHF had to Euro at 1.20....so EURCHF dropped like a rock! But other currencies like USD/JPY had no peg to swissy, so why they got exploded like eurchf????? |

My small real account AUD125.00 traded using HGB v2h survived chf turbulence yesterday. Luckily did not select chf pairs.The account made AUD71.00 and i am sasified with the result. Also, have set Forexkiwi to 400 to avoid overtrade. My broker is GP. I am using free Equity SENTRY Manager to collect $. Thanks Steve, boinvest, nanningbob and many other members who have make this ea a success. |

Hi all. I've really enjoyed testing HGB over the past week, trying to understand each component from the user guide etc. So much to read and digest through all the HGB forums.  I have an offer for the coders for something i had developed for my EA that i use for Crude / commodites trading and wonder if you'd be interested here. Idea i picked up from futures traders. It's not to add an indicator at all, or at least not a indie for opening trades. I tried to find a dynamic way of controlling the SL when the markets are violent, and Gold is a classic during NFP and many other times and everyone knows. So what i have got is a standard candle SL similar to HGB, but also a secondard SL that kicks in when the RSI is above or below a set level and I can choose the TF for the cal. It works great. If i could fix this though, it would be when the markets go crazy then I'd remove the TP and use the tight SL. might as well extract every penny until price reverses. Also given the HGB trades i had open for GBPAUD yesterday, thought this would be ideal when price is smashing through the stop orders but the last open trade becomes a big loss if there's no hard SL set. If there's another way to code tight SL when price moves rapidly other than RSI, or if it's included in a money management program that's already posted here, then i'd be interested to know. otherwise I'm happy to share the code if your want. I'm more of a donator of funds to broker, so i hope HGB and 2015 for change that. |

G'day all, I hope everyone recovered ok after yesterdays swiss chocolate meltdown...  Anyway I just have a quick query about the HGB v2m? I have 3 separate brokers (GP included) and on all three it is opening Sell Pending orders only! Just curious to know if anyone else is having this problem? Cheers Tony |

Am I the only one experiencing problems with TP on some pairs? There was no TP set for yesterday's CHFJPY trades and I don't know why?! No problems with the 27 other pairs - all TP and SL are set correctly. The 300 Pip SL is a kind of equity protection and not a conventional stop loss because on normal days the opposite signal will appear before the trade is in a 200 or 300 pip drawdown. However, the 300 pip SL saved my account during yesterday's massacre and the account was pretty much flat at the end of the day. I use version 2i and exactly the same settings/template across the 28 pairs. Thanks for your help!  |
