Research and development I guess you can say is my passion. I want to improve things for everybody. It might end up we are all out of jobs and no economy (since fiat-based systems are based on debt, if no one has debt because of, well, stuff happened like what I put on my website, then people wouldn't go into debt paying bills), but everyone would be able to live without many of the high-cost things that we have today due to simple "holding down the truth", no matter what area it is. So if progress and passion go hand in hand, I am a man that likes progress. I like to find a problem and fix it if possible. Already put myself out of one business by doing this (print), now it's time to automate another career, but this time I'm trying to automate myself out of a job so I can make money :)

First I've heard of the automatic mode not working on new indicator.

No offense to anyone, but I tried making my own thread. Input and then lost a lot of good data I put there when it was deleted. So I will not make that mistake again. I will only post my stuff on my website, where no one can delete it or change it but me. And the things I care about I can put there in one central location. I post my updates here because it's relevant. And on 10.2a CTS thread. I may get around to making another thread of my own one day, but really am busy with what I am doing now. It's nice for me to be able to look at my multiple brokers and see about the same thing, or much close than it was before, so I hope you understand if I now step back and just enjoy trading these new pivots.

As long as you know the Eastern offset, then you can put it in manually. Just can't say why it's not working. Do you have any messages in your Terminal > Experts or Terminal > Journal tabs? That would maybe help if there is an error somewhere to decipher.

As for all the kind remarks, I do appreciate them. But this IS my passion. I have tried quitting many times before but I must be destined to do this (and believe I am), so I keep coming back to Forex and MQL4. I tried getting into college last week, was accepted, but after more research found that a degree from that school was quickest way to NOT be employable. Glad there is Google. If I'm gonna waste my time on education, I'm gonna self-educate and have a chance to make more money than I could possibly by college education. Then I can have enough to help others the way I really want to. But hey, my website is now up getting that truth out, so I can help people no matter how much money I have. Technology can be friggin' awesome.

I just tried the AllPairs and daily pivot indy and i had to set them into Manual mode. Automatic doesn't do the Job and gives me some weird eastern offset values...

I also would really like to see the Fibs added :-)

I just thought of this. Anyone who is having problems, IM or email me, and tell me what broker you are using. You can send me the server files from your config folder and I can make a new demo on their server from my existing installation. This should help me be able to find what the problem is (hopefully).

Not sure that this really belongs on this thread but since nothing is trending & "AllPairs" looks interesting. We found (& fixed) a few EAs/Indicators with trade hours incorrect for part of the day here at GMT +10(+9 DST). I have grabbed shots before EST day turn over and after which on "AllPairs" both show some interesting dates/times. No pairs listed.
NY is 1600 hrs BEHIND us, so if NY(Hrs) < Local(Hrs) then NYOpen = NYOpen -(1440 * 60); often works.
It did display correctly for a few minutes with entry Eastern Offset as -16 then gone again.
[Our service provider is NY close (GMT+2 now). ]

was good to talk to you yesterday, man keep the good work up, you are going to have not just the Server Files from my Config Folder but the Whole Config Folder so we can deal with this Issue of the All Pairs thingy not working on my Criminal. It will also help with a lot of other Issues...

I am talking About HANTEC MARKETS in the UK, Don's 10.3 All Pairs does not work on that Criminal.

I will start closing out my trades for the year after today and hopefully be all cleared out by the middle of next week. My plans then will be to have a final edition of 10.3/10.2a/10.0 for the new year. I plan on having it look something like this.
1H chart will be the 10.3 simple with some adjustments to Baluda's indicator. If Don or someone has a working DO/DP line adjusted to one time start I will be interested in featuring it.
The 30M chart will be the same except I will put there the Fib indicator lines instead of the pivot based lines. This is for those that like using Fibs over pivots.
The 4H chart will have the 10.2a system on it.
The daily and weekly charts will have the 10.0 system which I use for recovery trades and long term trades.

I plan on having a CT system similar to what Don posted for those that want that. It will be similar to my 5.0 #3 EA. If price goes outside the BB bands we will catch the retrace at the end of the day. It will be presented with a hedging strategy for those that want to try it. Basically it will go like this.

You will set up your 10.2a and 10.3 trades for the day. If you hedge lets say at 20 pips, you wait until the end of the USA session and then take a CT trade. However, lets say you trade .20 lots. You will close the profit at .20 and the loser you close at .10. This leaves you .10 to recover and the .20 pocketed as profit. Since you hedged at 20 pips you only need a 10 pip retracement to BE the rest of the losing trade. If price goes farther then the 10 pips plus spread then you will start making a profit on that series of trades.

So your trading day will look like, profit trades and CT BE trades, allowing you to have a consistent rise in equity. On those occasions you cant get the CT trade to work, you just take the normal SL around the 20-30 pip mark and be on your way. But the SL will be half the normal size since half was already taken.

So hopefully it will look like this for a trading day. Do 10.3 scalp trades, 10.2a medium trades, and 10.0 long term trades pick and choose what you think is best. So for 10.3 for a week normally has more winning trades than losing trades. If we hedge and BE on 50% or more of the losing trades then that will set your win to loss ratio very high. I will be working on that throughout the month and hopefully have a fully integrated system by the beginning of the year. I also plan on opening an account with Axis Trader so I can hedge.

Thank you for all your suggestions and help, what I will be needing is to add a hedge MPTM along with the Jump EAs. I will be hoping Don's work will be ready by then and will need what you think is the best FIB indicator to use. That is the dream and then I can sit back and just trade knowing I am covered no matter what the market does, I CAN TRADE IT. :)
