Hi guys/gals,

I was looking through myfxbook for the top trader. The highest gainer with the lowest drawdown is how I normally determine ‘the winner’. I came across this bestsystem7. http://www.myfxbook.com/members/revoluc ... 010/319830

Can any of the top coder here figure and determine how he enters and exit his trade.

- Total Gain = 3,540,000%
- Average Monthly Gain - 130% gain with 5% drawdown
- From $500 to $17,600,000 in 9 short months
- 132 trades – 71 long & 61 short
- Trades EURUSD only
- Best Trade – 300 pips, Worst Trade – 40 pips

How in the world does he do it!!

It was with +1000 lots... and in 2010 ! You can try and win during some month if market is trending but one day, 1000 lots will stop out your account !
And most broker deal with 100 lots max fully automatic...

The guy definitely has a system. No fluke.

He did it with a demo in 2010, turning $500 into $17M. The following year, 2011, he uses real money to trade, however this time turning $500 into $9.5M.

If you were to look at the drawdown on both years, it never hit double digit.

Since Steve forum has a lot of brilliant individuals working on a system, I thought I might share this and hopefully anyone here could do a test on how he enters and exit the trade.

Seeing the guy trade 2 years in a row with consistent result, almost 95% winning average makes me wonder how this God Trader breaks the Forex code.

I've found that reading the news, combined with the way I analyse it goes a long way toward being right about the daily market direction 90-95% of the time.

It's a bit too complex for me to explain how I analyse, and I'm reluctant to share it right now :) It's a culmination of things I have learned over the years, and I've been figuring out how to apply it to forex trading since May. Early on, when my analysis was clear, I would be right about the direction. But I continued tweaking my system of analysing and since early October I have been right almost every day. High level Eurogroup meetings I have decided are too unpredictable. I pay attention to the EUR since that's when I'm awake. Maybe the USD would be very different, but if BestSystem7's performace was real, then I guess it's possible.

Anyway, the core of it is, who/what has the attention today? How strong is this authority in influencing the main issue at hand? Is x good, bad, or non-consequential? When did this event happen? Has it already been traded earlier in the day? Is this factor/issue persistent?

The sentiment gleaned from the analysis applies anywhere from 1 hour to several hours. Knowing what is persistent should increase your success rate, e.g. Draghi - "whatever it takes'.

Now, I haven't been profitable yet. Watching the screen and manual trading messes me up. Most of the time I haven't even traded through fear of being wrong/losing. But I discovered that if I had simply set and forget, I would have made heaps! This is why I have started looking at MPTM. I want to avoid having to look at the screen at all after setting a pending order.

That's how I prefer to trade, too. I'm not good at watching the screen and judging if something has changed. I'm better off if I generate a signal (however I do that), set the order, and ignore it.

have anyone tried to check if this trades are true? because I tried to see a trade from the statement and this is what I got in the image below

... anybody? please?

then, the next trades from the statement are not consistent with the EURUSD price in that time... I'm using Oanda history charts and I don't see the price touch the 1.4345 after that date, it did it that day but it was about 6 hours before... ehhh am I missing something here?

please enlighten me, I'm a newbie

i think the problem is the different time of the brokerquotes.
in generell i can say the trades match with the chart. in some times a hold and pray situation...

but remember, he risk with every trade only 500 bucks...., even when he trades 175 lot
