Hello I know i haven't posted much, i prefer to stay in the shadows and listen and learn. So don't be to hard on me if this does not make sense. I had an idea last night, is it possible to make an EA that reacts on objects drawn on the chart. In my head i pictured a EA reacting to arrows drawn on the chart by an indicator. Many indicators i have seen makes arrows when a trade should/ could be taken. examples, Stairstep Breakout, xpMA, a stochastic (can't remember name) and probably many more....and arrows can be added to indicator code (do not know if it is or not, can't speculate). This way we could use the same EA for multiple indis. Suggested inputs for EA:ยจ arrow code to look for = 2,3, 241,242,...,...,...,... Close on opposite arrow = true/false Lots (Fixed, per1000$, percentage) StopLoss TakeProfit SSBO uses 2 and 3 for open and close, xpMA uses 241 and 242 arrow labels Many other things can be added. trail, jumping, div filters, This idea came to me in the shower, after some amount of rum, so it may not be smart, or even doable Thomas Somebody want to take a stab at it? |

btw - The ea would not look to the arrows, but to the respective indicatorbuffer. But, yes, it is possible. |
