Hi All and Happy New Year, Been toying with this for a little while. So I dont double up I scanned the forum to see if this has been done or thought of before and couldn't find anything except for the thread by McNish (TMA MACD Trader which seems to be waiting for the details). I think the chart speaks for itself. In short... - 1hr chart, MTF MACD set to 4h with 5/10/3 or 7/22/3 settings - TMASlope set to 4h with main levels 0.4/-0.4 "TP" on the chart should have said "EXIT", which is either slope > 0.4 / < -0.4 or MACD signal line confirms in reverse direction... whichever comes first. Then wait for the next confirmation of both slope and MACD in same direction to place order. TMASlope set to 4h so I can see the next upper TF slope setting while in 1hr chart. My chart has MA's and pivots on it as I dont trade without these so they MAY not be needed for this. cheers, g. |
