Hey all,

Stumbled across a trading system over at FF that I thought might be a likely candidate for coding up. Wanted to see if anyone might be interested in taking it on.

Amika is trading it manually. She and the trend followers are having good success. I've always liked the Heiken Ashi but haven't really found one that suits me. This may have potential.

Basically you're looking at the HA smoothed and the 200ema. You look first to the weekly tf. If, for example price is above the 200 and the HA smoothed/histo (chart and histo should match, no?) is blue/white move to the daily. If both agree on daily, move to H4. As soon as you get both to agree (end of bar) enter. Initial s/l she's using is atr on the daily. Stay in trade until daily signal changes against.

If H4 signal flips then resumes higher tf then add to position.

Be nice to have the usual drill on the input parameters as in Steve's shell.

Shout out if anyone's interested or if you may have questions.

Read the thread in FF.com - it seems this strat is over and out ? AmikaKing closed the thread ... as I read ???? Not sure ... but it seems that's not worth for further try ?

I read it too...but I got the impression that Amikaking acted like this as she might have received strange pms...anyway I'm going to check it..

Invite her over here. Senders of 'strange pm's' etc are ruthlessly dealt with. The vigilance of the mods is the reason this forum is such a lovely place to be.

I've been concentrating on some other trading recently
and dropped the ball with this account. I've just closed
everything out and it's a few pounds up for the year.
I'll start again more intelligently next week.

I think I want to try this System too..... let's knock heads together on this and see what we come up with, kind of looks Interesting :)

Hey Spidey, why not make the HA an indicator across various time frames. Then you can just add it to the bottom of the chart in an indicator type style.. You can base the time frame off of the daily then migrate the time frame [stagger] it down to a 1 minute.
