Hi guys.
I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough and do me a great favor to code the strategy I
use manually.
Since I like to use this on hourly charts, there are lot of trades I miss due to being fast asleep
when US session is active.
I'll try my best to explain, since I am an idiot and crap in explaining things
.
Strategy:
1 hour chart
Indis needed:
NonLagMA 7.2v and SSL _fast sBar _alert_mtf
NonLagMA settings:
price 0
Length 40
Pct Filter 0.5
SSL fast sBar settings:
Lb 10
SSL Bar level 50
Time frame 240
IMPORTANT
Use SSL bar only as a filter. Trades open according to NonLag MA signal.
OK, here we go:
TO OPEN BUY:
NLMA (nonlag MA) changes colour to green and SSL bar is green ; open buy trade.
If SSL is red and NLMA turns green - no trade.
ONLY IF BOTH ARE GREEN buy is valid.
TO SELL:
NLMA changes to red and SSL Bar is red; open sell trade.
If SSL is green and NLMA turns red - no trade.
ONLY IF BOTH ARE RED sell is valid.
That is about it.
Trade should close once NonLagMA changes colour, regardless whether SSL fast sBar changed the
colour or not, but this is up to the individual so it should be coded in to the EA.
For an example:
trade is long and both indis are green. NLMA changes to red, but SSL Bar doesn't - trade closes in
profit ( unless in choppy market).
In choppy markets there will be losses but if set to close trades at colour change they will be fairly
small.
I attached some pics with some valid and not valid entries.
You will notice that even not valid entries woud be profitable, but I like to stick to the system.
