YAD104 - Yet Another Dashboard for 10.4

The idea is to have a dashboard for 10.4, that shows all pairs at a glance, and enough information to know when to open the specific chart for further assessment
I started to extend the nice Potential dashboard as mentioned by Steve in http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 852#p39852. I prefered to have the RSI(2) instead of Stoch, but RSI was missing, so I added it and continued to add some stuff. etheldreda jumped in with more nice features. It is all branched from MrLong's version Potential_10_4 Dash_v1.03.mq4, I just added _RSI_v1.xx to the name. Now I find to a bit confusing, so I will just call it YAD104 (plus version where needed).

Dashboard meanings:
  • PAIR: Show the related pair.
  • TREND: Shows BUY if price is above MA240, SELL if price is below MA240. With TrendAndy option no trend (---) if price was crossing MA240 in the last H4 bar
  • AO: >0 (means: greater than 0) if AO is above its 0 line, <0 if below. Color shows green if AO trend is up, red if AO trend is down.
  • StOCH5: Show for the last n candles (currently 5) if value is flat on top (T) or flat on bottom(B).
  • RSI2TMA: Show for the last n candles (currently 5) if value is flat on top (T) or flat on bottom(B).
  • Potential trade: Shows an upcoming potential for a SELL or BUY in agreement with STOCH5 (-S), RSI2TMA (-R) or AO <>0 (-A0) or AO trend change (-AT). Read 10.4 manual before asking questions on entry signals

User settings:
  • alerts: switch on/off pop-up alerts in Empty4 terminal
  • eMails: switch on/off email alerts
  • sendNotifacations: switch on/off push notification to your smartphone
  • playSound: switch on/off alerts sound
  • RSILevelHigh: RSI2TMA level that is considered as (T)op, default value = 98
  • RSILevelLow: RSI2TMA level that is considered as (B)ottom, default value = 2
  • StochLevelHigh: STOCH5 level that is considered as (T)op, default value = 80
  • StochLevelLow: STOCH5 level that is considered as (B)ottom, default value = 20
  • RefreshOnlyOnClosedBars: If set to false, the dashboard refreshes on every incoming tick! If set to true, it refreshes only when the chart, the dashboard is put on, switches to next bar. But choosing your dashboard chart timeframe, you set your refresh interval.
  • maxRow: Set the maximum number of row per column . Only 2 columns supported currently.
  • column1: Horizontal position of column 1
  • column2: Horizontal position of column 2
  • AllSymbols: Use all available symbols from the platform (from Market View)
  • TrendAndy: if true, trend definition as per Andy. Otherwise trend is just above or below MA240
  • ShowOnlyPotential: show only symbols where at least one entry signals triggered (obsolete since 1.07

Comments/install:
  • If you had used 1.07, please remove the 2 mt4gui dlls
  • Go to http://www.mt4gui.com/download/ , install section and install the 2 files
  • Copy attached YADxxx.mql to your experts folder.
  • you may also need the Awesome indi included, although it should be there in most Empty4 installations. The reason to read the indi directly instead of calling iAO() was that iAO() only provides the level but not the trend direction.
Change log:
  • v1.01: initial version of the dashboard with RSI support and history
  • v1.02: extension by etheldreda to support 2 columns and show next pivot level
  • v1.03: RefreshOnlyOnClosedBars added
  • v1.04: Merge of 1.02 and 1.03
  • v1.05: Add option to use all available symbols from the platform. If not used, supported pairs can be changed in the code. Add option to use Andy's method of <>MA240 or a simple <>MA240
  • v1.06: Fix header. Add AO entry signals. Option to show only symbols with entry signals
  • v1.07: Checkboxes to filter specific signals. Symbols with valid signals are color highlighted. Buttons to open the related chart including H4 timeframe setting and automatic template loading. Color symbol in BLUE if (pending) trades exist.
  • v1.07a: Upgrade to new mt4dll library from http://www.mt4gui.com.

  • add new trendDirect function from Andy done
  • support automatic symbol scanning done
  • support further entry signals from 10.4 open
  • support exit signals from 10.4 (unlikely, should be handled by the trade manager)
  • option to list only potential setups done
  • support auto symbol like in Baluda code open
  • add time/date stamp of last signal(s) open
  • add price value of pivot rejected :cry:

What should be wrong here? Maybe the explanation was missing, please read new post 1 here and reply if you still see something wrong.

XAGUSD and XAUUSD are supported since v1.03. See post 1 how to add further pairs.

I've altered my trendDirect, I've changed the PERIOD_D1 to PERIOD_H4 and are getting more accurate signals.
