First post here. Love the forum. Just wanted to vent my love hate relationship with Empty4.
Firstly, you who created Empty4... When I place a LIMIT order, this means that I am only willing to trade AT this price or BETTER. Not worse you bunch of A holes. You can't slip a limit order, unless you're a Empty4 broker
Second, when I close a trade you will slip me on a negative move in the time it takes to process my order on the server, but you NEVER EVER slip my order if price moves in my favor. This is just bull shit Metaquotes.
I finally have an account with IB. To be honest I have never looked back. Even though TWS is horrendous.
That brings me to me to my love relationship with Empty4. As a charting platform, IMHO, it is one of the best out there. Plus it's free. I like metastock purely because it reminds me of Empty4 in its simplicity. MQL just creams MSFL however, so I find myself constantly back to Empty4 when I need to code (and I'm a dirty inexperienced coder
